4 Google used the same technology in the galleries as they did in street view. Technicians have spent the last 18
5 months pushing cameras around galleries in several cities, 360 degree views of the room. People can click on
6 links and find out more and post comments.

8 The site was officially launched at the Tate Britain in London. Organisers are adamant it is not intended to
9 replace the experience of actually going to a museum. Rather they imagine it will inspire people to seek out the
10 real thing.

13 can view an image with 7 billion pixels, which means you can see details not visible to the naked eye.
