1. A completely redesigned web configuration application
enables a fast and easy configuration of the DEXGate2. This
web interface can be accessed using an Smartphone, a tablet
or a PC thrnough the WiFi connection. The web interface can
also be accessed from inside DEXCell Energy Manager,
creating a seemless integration that makes future configura-
tions and upgrades even easier.

DEXGate2 connects to the internet to send data to DEXCell
Energy Manager using Ethernet or its integrated 3G optional
module. It supports Modbus-RTU using RS485 (thanks to an
integrated RS845 Port) and Modbus TCP. DEXGate2 has built
in drivers for more than 80 devices from 17 manufacturers. If
no internet connection is available, the datalogger can keep
data for days or even weeks.
If some devices are not supported natively, custom drivers can
be defined using a completely new interface to get data from
virtually any Modbus device, PLC or automation software.

DEXGate2 is DEXMA’s new generation datalogger based on
the succesful DEXGate. It is one of the most advanced and
flexible dataloggers available for the energy management
market. With its integrated RS485 port, it enables the
cloud-based DEXCell Energy Manager EMS to acquire data
from meters and sensors using MODBUS protocol. Installa-
tion has never been easier thanks to its DIN-Rail Adapter.
Configuration is very fast thanks to a smartphone compati-
ble web interface used through WiFi.
