Variable Data Print (VDP) and Direct Mail Print
Variable Data Printing (VDP) is the use of software
to generate any number of variations in a single
document.
The message is extremely powerful, with higher
response rates.
Using a clients name in creative and interesting ways
is just one way that personalised communication
helps to increase response rates by capturing the
readers’ attention.
Clients provide a database of their target audience,
the static design is updated for each individual in
that database, making each and every piece of direct
marketing unique to the person receiving it. 1 2
The variables in each document can include picture,
text, colour and logo or any combination of these.
The benefits of variable data printing include:
— upports powerful custom-focused marketing

Digital Foiling Print
Applications used in: invites, brochures. Digital foiling is a technique we introduced to the Australian design
community. We call it digital foiling due to the way printed sheets come off our digital printing press in
preparation for foiling on another device and can be utilised for small print runs. A major advantage of this
process is that we can also apply variable data, rendering each printed item unique, without the need for
costly foiling dies.
17. Your type of Printer — Bespoke Printing
Letterpress Ink Foil
We can produce multiple colour images with our Letterpress ink foil using muliple dies, different colours
of foil and multiple press passes. There are 6 colours available; Light black, Grey, Blue, Green, Red and
Yellow. There will be more colours released in the near future. For a colour sample swatch please email
info@digitalpress.com.au. Normally, metal flat foil stamping dies are used to simulate letterpress printed
products. For more information check our website.
