3. One Direction
One Direction are an English-Irish pop boyband based in London,
consisting of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles
and Louis Tomlinson. They signed with Simon Cowell’s record
label Syco Records after being formed and finishing third in
the seventh series of the British televised singing competition
The X Factor in 2010.
The reason I idolized one direction is because they are compact
although formed from The X Factor contestants of different
individuals who have not met each other before, and it’s because
they have a handsome face and a nice vocal.

Liam James Payne, Liam was born on August
29, 1993, 3 weeks earlier from the expected
date. He's from
Wolverhampton, West
Midlands, England.
His mother is Karen and his father is Geoff. Liam has 2 older
sisters, Ruth and Nicola. Liam took up boxing lessons at the age
of 12 because he was bullied; it gave him confidence and did pretty
well over the next couple of years.
Payne first auditioned in X Factor in 2008 when he was only
14 years old but Simon Cowell thought that he wasn't ready and
told him to come back after 2 years. He came back in 2010
X Factor's 7th series, exactly after 2 years. He sung "Cry Me
a River", received a standing ovation but rejected at boot camp
after singing "Stop Crying Your Heart Out ", then put into
One Direction.

6. Niall Horan
Niall James Horan, he was born on 13 September 1993, is from
Mullingar, Country Westmeath, Ireland .Born to mother Maura
Gallagher and father Bobby Horan, he has an older brother named
Greg. Their parents divorced when he was five. He and his brother
lived between each of their homes for a few years before eventually
deciding to live with their father in Mullingar.He has been playing
guitar since his childhood. In his audition for The X Factor 7th
series, he performed the song, "So Sick". He was sent to the boot
camp after getting 3 votes out and sang "Champagne Supernova".
Niall failed to qualify and later became a member of One Direction.

7. Zayn Malik
Zayn Javadd Malik, Zayn is from West Lane, Baildon, Bradford,
England.He was born on January 12, 1993.Zayn grew up in East
Bowling, south of the Bradford City Centre. He used to study in
Lower Fields Primary School and Tong High School. Zayn is muslim.
Zayn has 4 tattoos, a Yin Yang sign on his left wrist and a peace
sign on his right arm, a symbol on his tummy and his grandfather's
Arabic name on his chest. His audition in The X Factor was shown
only after the show ended.

8. Louis Tomlinson
Louis William Tomlinson, he was born on December 24,
1991.Louis is from Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England.
His mother's name is Johanna and his father is Mark. Louis
has 4 younger sisters named, Charlotte, Félicité, and twins Daisy
and Phoebe. Louis auditioned in The X Factor 7th series in 2010
and sung"Hey There Delilah" and "Make You Feel My Love" at
boot camp; he was rejected and put into One Direction.

9. Harry Styles
Harold Edward Styles, He was born on February 1, 1994 in Evesham,
Worcestershire. Harry's from Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England.
He's a former student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive
School.Born to mother Anne and father Des, Harry has an older
sister, Gemma. Harry was the lead singer of White Eskimo band.
He auditioned in X Factor and sung "Isn't She Lovely" and
"Stop Crying Your Heart Out" at boot camp; he was also
rejected and put into One Direction.

10. Awards and Nominations
One Direction have been recipients of two BRIT Awards ,winning their first with
"What Makes You Beautiful" for Best British Single at the 2012 BRIT Awards, a
NME Award,two Kids' Choice Awards, and three MTV Video Music
Awards, among other awards. One Direction won all nine awards they were
nominated for at the Teen Choice Awards.
