Essay For School Students
1. Recess Essay
When I was a lot younger and in school, I thought that recess was the best part. I got to see all my
friends, meet new friends, play games, and just straight up have fun without a worry in the world.
Most of those friendships that I made then are still going strong to this day. How can there be any
harm in that? Just a bunch of kids having fun being kids. Recently it continuing to have recess in
school has become a very large debate in education currently. With my expertise in education, I
strongly believe that it is crucial to the development of young students that recess is continued as a
part of everyday activity. One benefit of recess contributes straight to the kid's school work. A study

Several people know that one way to prevent or fix frustration would be to take a break. For
young children this break is recess, even in some of my classes we take breaks. Whether we leave
the classroom or not and just play our phones, it can be very beneficial to take your mine off what
you are working on every occasionally, and return to it later. One aspect that is most likely obvious
is the physical activity that comes with recess. Physical activity is a large part of life that many
people have neglected and have discovered the consequences of this neglect. Whether it was all the
health complications, like for instance obesity, or lack of fitness. In one study, by Heather Erwin, a
professor in the department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion at the University of Kentucky,
they looked at the amount of physical activity students did with recess incorporated into their school
day compared to the amount that other students without that time for recess. They found that
students with recess in their school day had larger number of steps compared to those students who
did not have recess in their school day. this study proves the point that recess in schools provides
more physical activity than if there was none. This physical activity can be very important to some
students, whether they know

2. High School Graduation Essay
Graduation
Through out life people go through so many hardships. Whether it be good or bad there is always
something that comes out of the situation. One of the most exciting but yet scariest events would be
graduation. For a lot of people, graduating from high school is a goal. It takes a lot of time and
effort to achieve that goal. In the long run, it opens a lot of opportunities for people to succeed.
Graduation is the end of high school, and the beginning to life. I can almost remember that day like
it was yesterday, I awoke like on any other school day. It was a gorgeous May morning, therays of
sun flittered through my miniblinds blinding me as if I hadn't seen light in days. I sluggishly
dragged my limp body out of...show more content...
Once I was finished, I gathered up my cap and gown and my car keys and headed out the door. All
the graduates had to meet in the high school library an hour before the ceremonies started, and I
promised one of my best friends Tony that we would go together. I knocked on his back door and
let myself in like I always do. All of his family members were running throughout the house trying
to get ready. I asked his mom where Tony was and she proceeded to tell me that he was in the
bathroom getting ready. I tapped on the door and walked in. He was standing in front of the
mirror with his cap and gown on. He look me straight in the eyes and said," Can you believe that
we are about to graduate?" I replied," No, it really hasn't set in yet." Tony finished getting ready,
and then we left for the high school. The parking lot was filled with all the other seniors' cars.
Tony and I walked into the library ten minutes late like usual, and the principal had already started
giving instructions. I found my place in line and then was all ears. I couldn't help but look around
at all the others. Smiles were plastered on their faces as if they had heard a hilarious joke. Once the
principal concluded his speech, the whole senior class paraded down the hallway to the commons in
two uniform lines stopping just outside the gymnasium doors. We could hear the band warming up
and playing songs. All the people that were standing around me were bubbling

3. My Life As A Student
My life as a student has been a fairly good one. I've received good grades throughout all my years
of high school and pride myself as an intelligent individual. But my individual ability to grow and
learn has been always changing and shifting as I have grown. I think that currently, I am at a low
point in my mindset and learning ability, but there is hope on the horizon. This essay will explore
the growth and mindset of Will Roser, and how I can grow as a learner, friend, and individual. As
a student, I have some habits that I rely on, both good and bad. I am usually a good student,
receiving above average grades and I am moderately happy with them. My strength is that I
always get everything done on time. I never have an excuse because my work is always done. I
pride myself on that fact. And although that may seem like a good quality, the fact that I
procrastinate so much does affect how good that work may be. So yes, I always finish my work
which is always a good thing, but it may be at the expense of my sleep schedule. I tend to do most of
my work the day before, despite telling myself over and over again that it needs to be done earlier.
Luckily I have hope for my habits as I am still young. I still have to work on my procrastination but I
think that I can improve as long as I start to see the benefits of starting work early. As William
James says in his essay Habit, "The period between twenty and thirty is the critical one in the
formation of intellectual and

4. School Presentation Essay
On Tuesday before class started, we had a group meeting concerning our oral presentation. Most of
us have met a week earlier to discuss what we were going to talk about during the presentation. We
put it together on PowerPoint and quickly went over all the slides. One thing I learned about our
group is that some of us tend to shy away when doing presentations in front of the class. Voluntarily
I wouldn't go up, depending what the topic is and if I knew much about it. If I prepare for it, I don't
mind doing it. Communication is very important when working in groups. This is what keeps most
of them together. Communication wasn't a problem in our group because most of us knew each
other. Some of the members I do not usually communicate to...show more content...
Although this wasn't a big presentation, I believed that body movement might have helped make it
more interesting. I know for myself, if I do a big presentation, I try to move my hands around.
When I communicate through emails, I try to be really courteous to my members because
something I say, someone else might take it differently. I use a lot of short cuts when I type and
sometimes people might not understand what it means. When I emailed two group members that I
don't usually talk to online, they kind of had trouble understanding what I was trying to say. To
solve that, I just called them up and explained why I chose United Way to give our money to. The
rest of the members were ok with email. The best way for our group to communicate with each
other was either in class or through the email system. So far, all team members have participated in
most of the meetings and we all did our part to put the presentation together so there was no social
loafing going on. When we presented, this was upward communication as this information was
going to a higher level which was the professor.
I learned that the communication process is very important when working with groups. It allows
each member to give their say and input to the task at hand. Not only is it important in groups, also
individually as well such as giving information to your supervisor or to a colleague. I know for
myself that when I'm doing a PowerPoint presentation, I tend to
