2. Shown on the following three slides are screenshots from
an interactive course that I assisted in developing at my
last company.
This particular course was developed for the construction
industry. The course helped companies ensure they
were following safety guidelines set forth by the
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
The course also educated workers, helping ensure that
they are safer on the job.
The screenshots of the interactive slides shown are from
a fall protection in construction module.
3. In this example, the student is asked to click on the particular hazard
within the photograph or illustration. If they are unable to discover the
hazard, they can click the question mark in the lower right of each
image to display the hazard.
4. In this example, the student is given a button to click on in the upper
left. This button starts an animation that shows what the proper fall
protection would be for this unprotected roof edge.
5. In this example, the student is shown a scaffold with seven hidden
hazards. The student is instructed to click on the hazards to identify
them. If they are unable to locate all of the hazards, they can click on
the question mark in the lower right of the image. This will list the
seven hazards, as shown in the image.
