- Lynn Business & Industry Services provides the business and industry base of Pitt County a wide variety of options for their training needs. Programs and courses are tailored to meet the specific needs of a diverse company population. We provide technical training, interpersonal skills, safety training, computer classes, and many more to Businesses, Industries, Agencies, County, and the General Public Through visits, calls, and relationships We partner to bring Pitt Community College to the county and community. Most classes are taught at the business site, although they can be taught at PCC’s campus. Business and Industry Services can help a company determine training needs and develop customized programs to meet those needs. The college is committed to promoting economic growth in the community through these program areas: Focused Industrial Training and New and Expanding Industry Training

Pitt Community College has a history of good results of providing and developing training programs and curricula to fit the needs of nearly (#) Pitt County business and industry companies. We work with small, medium and large workforce companies to deliver value added workforce development programs. We put our "Knowledge Factory" to work to provide all types of training to business and industry so they can compete more effectively in the marketplace and minimize costs and maximize resources. Many courses may taught in the workplace where the student worker and the instructor can apply classroom knowledge immediately to the job. This technique minimizes the amount of time the employee is "off-line" from regular duties. These courses can provide a Return on Investment on your most valuable asset.....people
