           Once again, the Continual Improvement Subgroup welcomes you to join in as it celebrates the
           World Quality Day! The subgroup strives to encourage organizations to implement
           effective improvement strategies and methodologies in order to increase the rate of improvements.

           SYMPOSIUM HIGHLIGHTS:

           3rd Continual Improvement & Innovation Symposium provides a platform to organizations & teams
           for showcasing their successful improvement and innovation case studies by participating in the
           following live competitions:

                      Improvement Case Studies:
                       -   Breakthrough Process Improvement: Using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean
                           and Business Process Reengineering.
                       -   Kaizen: Using methodologies such as 5-S, Visual management, Quality Circles and
                           Quality Control tools.
                       -   Innovation of Products / Services, Processes and Business Models: Using
                           methodologies such as TRIZ, Systematic Innovation and Value Engineering/ Analysis.

                      Quality Quiz Competition: a true Edutainment!
                       Participate in teams of 3 (either from within your organization or your friends) in the
                       Quality Quiz Competition. It will cover topics related to Total Quality Management, Six
                       Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, Innovation, Business Excellence Framework, Management System
                       Standards, Quality Gurus etc. The quiz is specially designed to test you to the ultimate
                       levels with questions that will make you put on your thinking caps, while having fun at the
                       same time.

                       An interesting and entertaining learning game, where all participants will learn an effective
                       technique to become innovators!

        Stephen has consulted organizations in over 40 countries world-wide.
        His passions are: delivering successful transformation strategies and
        coaching leaders. He has experience in various sectors consiting
        of wide-ranging organizations such as the IBM, Credit Agricole,
        Danaher, FBI, Allied Signal, Volvo-GM, Hewlett Packard, NASA and
        diverse governments across the globe.

        Associate Vice President-TQM, SRF (Winner of Deming Application Prize)
        Speech Title: “TQM Strategy for Continual Improvements – the SRF way”


        Ilango is a Mechanical Engineer from one of the premier institutes of
        India, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. He had worked in
        diverse fields such as Production Management, Materials
        Management, Production Planning, Strategic Planning, Vendor
        Development, Quality Assurance, Sales Administration and HR before
        moving to TQM. Currently he is heading TQM function in Technical
        Textiles business of Ms. SRF – India’s leading business house.



        ADITYA BHALLA
        Innovation Practices Head, QAI Global & President, TRIZ Association of Asia
        Speech Title: “Seven Core Skills of Innovators based on TRIZ”


        Aditya is responsible for P&L of Innovation Practice at QAI Global
        Services and expanding the service delivery capabilities for the
        practice. He is President of TRIZ Association of Asia and one of the two
        in South Asia to be Certified MATRIZ Level 3 and ITRIZ-IPS. He is an AFD
        trainer, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and holds a Post Graduate
        Diploma in Patents Law.

                     Quiz Competition.
              3.     Shortlisted case studies require a team of 3 individuals to be formed for each case study to present at
                     the competition on the day of the event. These team members can attend the Symposium for Free.
