introduction
The owner want to develop 2 storey building of bungalow on about
3.7056 acres areas at Lot 2689 (GM 2443), Parit Bakar, Daerah Batu Pahat, Johor Darul
Takzim. The site location is attached on layout plan. The project implementation will begin
with site clearance and earthworks. The construction work will inevitably change the
drainage pattern over the site dictated by the restructuring of earthworks to suits land use
planning proposal. To cater for this development needs and erosion control measures, the
main and temporary drainage system will be established concurrently including
channelization, silt trap and turfing before other infrastructures move in.

cut and fill earthwork volume

The calculation of the volume is divided into two ways which are of how
economic and non-economic ways. Economics is a way to counterbalance the
formation level volume of cut and fill.
Regular way cannot be determined because the formation level has
already been set by the contractor. With this, the volume land of cut and fill may be
unbalanced and may be export or import activities will be involving for land. These
activities require expensive cost o implement.

Rates of soil erosion are often greatest where runoff water
becomes concentrated along drainage lines and stream. Erosion control measures
in these locations can have a major effect in reducing the risk of downstream sedimentation.
The earth drain design is according to Urban Storm water Management
Manual of Malaysia (MASMA). The purpose of construct the water
will be directed into the permanent drainage system nearby.

Sewerage refers to the infrastructure that conveys sewage. It encompasses components
such as receiving drains, manholes, pumping stations, storm overflows, and screening
chambers of the sanitary sewer. Sewerage ends at the entry to a sewage treatment
plant or at the point of discharge into the environment. In loose American English usage,
the terms "sewerage" and "sewage" are sometimes used interchangeably.

Design criteria consist of a detailed list of considerations to be used in
negotiating a set of road standards. These include resource management objectives,
environmental constraints, safety, physical environmental factors (such as
topography, climate, and soils), traffic requirements, and traffic service levels.
Objectives should be established for each road and may be expressed in terms of the
area and resources to be served, environmental concerns to be addressed, amount
and types of traffic to be expected, life of the facility and functional classification.
Additional objectives may also be defined concerning specific needs or problems
identified in the planning stage.

Introduction -Primilary
+ Column
A column is a structural element which is subjected to axial compressive forces.
Columns in a structure carry the load from the beams and slabs down to the foundation.
+ Beam
Beam is a one dimensional structural elements in flexural that usually transmit the load
from slab to vertical supporting column. They are normally cast monolithically with slab.
They may form a T-beam section for interior beam or L-beam at the exterior of the beam.
+ Slab
Slabs are the structural element in flexure that are subjected to load predominantly
acting perpendicular to their surface. The commonly encounter floor slabs are
horizontal, two-dimensional elements that transmit gravity (live and dead) loads
to the vertical frames of a structure.

+ Staircase
staircase provides a means of movement from one level to another
in a structure. It consist of a number of steps arranged in a series of flight with
landing a suitable interval, to provide comfort, easy and safety. The number
of step in a flight may vary from three to twelve depending upon the type
of structure and purpose of stair. The rise of a step and the tread should be so
arranged as to give maximum comfort to the users.
+ Foundation
Is the part of a structure that is usually placed below the surface of the ground
and that transmit the load to the underlying soil or rock.
structure which is in direct contact with the soil, generally below the ground level,
and transfer the load from superstructure to the underlying strata or subsoil safely.
The foundation is generally enlarge at the base to distribute the load transferred
from the structure over a larger area such that the pressure on the soil does
not exit its safe or permissible bearing capacity.

Integrated Design Project ® | BFC 43303 FACULTY OF CIVIL ENGINEERING & ENVIROMENTAL SUSTAINABLE ENGINEERING GROUP ® SEG® WORLDWIDE introduction The owner want to develop 2 storey building of bungalow on about 3.7056 acres areas at Lot 2689 (GM 2443), Parit Bakar, Daerah Batu Pahat, Johor Darul Takzim. The site location is attached on layout plan. The project implementation will begin with site clearance and earthworks. The construction work will inevitably change the drainage pattern over the site dictated by the restructuring of earthworks to suits land use planning proposal. To cater for this development needs and erosion control measures, the main and temporary drainage system will be established concurrently including channelization, silt trap and turfing before other infrastructures move in. + PLAN VIEW | SITE

Economics is a way to counterbalance the formation level volume of cut and fill. Regular way cannot be determined because the formation level has already been set by the contractor. With this, the volume land of cut and fill may be unbalanced and may be export or import activities will be involving for land. These activities require expensive cost o implement.

Erosion control measures in these locations can have a major effect in reducing the risk of downstream sedimentation. The earth drain design is according to Urban Storm water Management Manual of Malaysia (MASMA). It encompasses components such as receiving drains, manholes, pumping stations, storm overflows, and screening chambers of the sanitary sewer. Sewerage ends at the entry to a sewage treatment plant or at the point of discharge into the environment. In loose American English usage, the terms "sewerage" and "sewage" are sometimes used interchangeably.

Columns in a structure carry the load from the beams and slabs down to the foundation. + Beam Beam is a one dimensional structural elements in flexural that usually transmit the load from slab to vertical supporting column. They are normally cast monolithically with slab. They may form a T-beam section for interior beam or L-beam at the exterior of the beam. + Slab Slabs are the structural element in flexure that are subjected to load predominantly acting perpendicular to their surface. The commonly encounter floor slabs are horizontal, two-dimensional elements that transmit gravity (live and dead) loads to the vertical frames of a structure.

It consist of a number of steps arranged in a series of flight with landing a suitable interval, to provide comfort, easy and safety. The number of step in a flight may vary from three to twelve depending upon the type of structure and purpose of stair. The rise of a step and the tread should be so arranged as to give maximum comfort to the users. + Foundation Is the part of a structure that is usually placed below the surface of the ground and that transmit the load to the underlying soil or rock. structure which is in direct contact with the soil, generally below the ground level, and transfer the load from superstructure to the underlying strata or subsoil safely. The foundation is generally enlarge at the base to distribute the load transferred from the structure over a larger area such that the pressure on the soil does not exit its safe or permissible bearing capacity.
