contribute to the understanding of the info or over

seen that it can be made in many different forms?
• Should I inspire my poster in the format of existing
ones, or should I create a completely new one?
• What are the main characteristics of a successful
poster?
• How could I improve my poster, even after having
met the end-user`s requirements?
• Where is the line in relation to using someone`s
existing poster as inspiration and copying?

2. Answers, According to
Research
An effective poster is a visual communications tool.
the info must be written correctly in grammatical
terms, otherwise it`s hard to read the text. The text
mustn’t be too big or too small, and the fonts must
be simple. Last year’s poster proved the simplicity
that a poster requires to work well with the public. A
poster works better with a small amount of colors,
but appealing. This helps it to be more legible, and
eye-catching. I found that using Publisher was a
user-friendly software, since Photoshop is too
complicated and Paint.net doesn’t have enough
features. Copying someone else’s work is a crime, so
creating a completely new poster is essential. A

3. successful poster is simple, creative and its graphics
have to be good. I could improve my poster my
showing it to other people, and gather their opinion,
so I have a real basis for the improvement of my
poster. Using a video for assistance when creating
the poster is just inspiration, but looking at
someone’s poster and editing it is not correct.
I think that my sources weren’t biased, as they
were mostly instructional, and I used only one
source on how to design a poster better. I used 2
YouTube videos to create the poster, an existing
school poster to compare my own to it, and a
website on poster designing.
