4. Introduction
The purpose of this publication is to bring clarity to special areas of bib-
lical knowledge for all members of the body of Christ so that your spiritual
growth will not be hindered and to help you continue to advance in the
Kingdom of God.
We as members of the grace ascension ministry gifts are
delighted...
To be in pain with Christ for You!
Romans 8:14-23
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received
the spirit of bondage again to fear, but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry,
Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with
him, that we may be also glorified together.
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the
glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the
manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but
by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope. Because the creature itself also shall be
delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For
we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not
only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan
within ourselves waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

5. Inspiration
The Spirit of the Lord said to me “Your mission, your ministry, and your
methods for completing your assignment are great, but God is calling
for more intimacy with Him.”
Spend more time in prophetic intercession, more time in repentance, more time in fasting and
prayer, more time in study of the Word of God and more time in quiet meditation resting in
Him.
God is saying “Go deeper...go deeper.” In order to come up higher, ascend into the heavenly
realm, we need to go deeper into his Word. Ephesians 4:7-11 (Good News Bible) reads:
Each one of us has received a special gift in proportion to what Christ has given. As the scrip-
ture says, “When he went up to the very heights, he took many captives with him; he gave
gifts to people.” Now, what does “he went up” mean? It means that first he came down to
the lowest depths of the earth. So the one who came down is the same one who went up,
above and beyond the heavens, to fill the whole universe with his presence. It was he who
“gave gifts to people;” he appointed some to be apostles, others to be prophets, others to be
evangelists, others to be pastors and teachers.
People of God it is time to grow up. We are the head and not the tail. We are to be leaders in
the world. God has given us spiritual authority to declare and decree, to bind and loose, to
forgive and forget. Let us march on to victory and enjoy the triumph...amen!
We who are called will continue to labor with you until Christ is formed in you. It is for the
love of the Lord that we labor. We are his servants and the workmanship of his mighty hands.
And we continue in labor with Christ. Therefore let Christ be glorified in you.
Let us continue to grow until we become mature
people reaching to the very height of the full stature
of Christ. (Ephesians 4:14)
Until Christ is formed in you, what does this mean
to you?

6. Revelation
God is a spirit, and those who worship Him should worship him in spirit and in truth. So when
the truth of the Word of God is received in your heart, now you can worship Him in the spirit.
The deeper you go into the Word of God, the greater the love, the greater the praise, the
greater the worship in spirit and in truth...amen! You have received new revelation from the
Lord.
Are You Yielded to the Master’s Hand?
Jeremiah 13:1-27
In this prophetic book of Jeremiah, a story about a ruined, useless belt is an example of the
Lord commanding Jeremiah to complete symbolic acts to illustrate his message. Yes, this Jere-
miah was characterized by prompt obedience to the voice of the Lord...will you obey!
The Lord said to Jeremiah…
1. Go and buy...so Jeremiah went and bought.
2. Take the belt...and hide it...so Jeremiah took the belt and hid it.
3. Go now to Perath and get the belt...so Jeremiah went to Perath and dug the belt up.
When you receive a revelation from the Lord, will you be prompt to obey his voice, or will you
linger and question and hesitate or simply disobey? Explain.

7. Fresh Dew…in the Morning
The power of God
Reigns supreme.
My heart is receptive.
My mind is clean…in the morning.
My heart and my soul
The condition is right.
I released negative thinking
All through the night…it‟s now in the morning.
The Lord has come
To give me new visions and dreams.
Those He will manifest
And I am the means…it‟s in the morning.
My heart is prepared
And it‟s ready to receive.
With a God like mine
I need only to just believe…in Him.
He is…Fresh Dew in the morning.
Thank you Lord
For your anointing power.
The Holy Spirit is high
In the 3 o‟clock hour…in the morning.
I am patiently waiting
A vessel to be used.
Listening for a whisper from you God.
Fresh Dew…Fresh Dew…in the morning.
Lord I fervently pray
That you will be glorified.
My heart is washed clean
And my thoughts purified.
Now I‟m ready…
I‟m ready to receive today.
All that you have to give
And you are sending my way.
Fresh Dew…Fresh Dew…In the Morning!

Next Realm of Power
Philippians 3:10-11 (KJV, key verse 10)
10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his suffer-
ings, being made conformable unto his death; 11 If by any means I might attain unto the res-
urrection of the dead.
Many believers have surrendered their thinking to fascination and mental occupation of the
world‟s system: celebrating the Easter bunny, chocolate candy eggs, festive dinners and new
garments for dress up attire, some are caught up in the worldly view of Christmas and buying
unnecessary gifts and so on. But those apostolic prophetic disciples for Christ who are mature
in the supernatural things of God are daringly celebrating the birth of our Savior, his death on
the cross, burial in the tomb and resurrection on the third day of Jesus Christ, the Son of the
Most High God. Jesus Christ is alive…yes our King Jesus lives!
He is made alive within the hearts of every believer through the power of his resurrection. This
is not that power exerted by his Father, and by himself, in raising him from the dead; but moral
and ethical principles of righteousness which arise from his resurrection and its influence.
Therefore believers are all given keys to the Kingdom of God through the power of the resur-
rection of Jesus Christ…“for the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power” (1 Corinthians
4:20). As a child of God you are commanded to live holy because you are the righteous, the
redeemed, the sanctified, the meek, the humble, the salt of the earth, the light of the world and
the temple of the Holy Spirit. You have authority to possess (dominate) the Kingdom and repre-
sent Christ to the world and thereby influence its morality. Let the glory of the Lord rise…He
reigns forever!
It is expected that since we reign with Christ we shall also suffer with him. Saints you have sur-
vived numerous spiritual transitions: taking prayer out of the class room; encouraged not to
mention the name of Jesus in work place holidays; say his name during public speaking and the
guilt of leaving his name out of songs created to exalt him. Through the years you have been
frightened by religious spirits and the world‟s system to the point of trembling at the thought of
mentioning the name of Jesus Christ. Why, because there is power in the name of Jesus and the
world‟s system is designed to diminish or weaken this power. You have authority in the name
of Jesus to rule and to reign over specific regions and territories here on earth where you have
dominion and influence as kings. You have power and authority over sickness and disease;
power and authority to prosper; dominion over spiritual wickedness in high places, and you
have the power to declare and decree a thing and it shall be so.
Romans 13:1-7 is a lesson of subjection to lawful authority. Power is expressed not by the per-
sons that are in authority, but the place of authority itself. In other words positions identify the
authority or power. Let‟s take look at an example. In the work place the chairman of the board
or president of a company has supreme authority and delegate authority to other positions. The
“higher powers” are the rulers of government or your superiors at work even though they are
8
9. not believers, but if the current chairman of the board is removed from that position their au-
thority or power over you cease to exist…amen! Your position as believers is in Christ. He is
the King of kings and Lord of lords…He reigns forever!
Today the apostolic prophetic reformation movement is boldly advancing the Kingdom of God
and restoration to divine order the things of God that Jesus Christ commanded. The next realm
of power is taking place here and now…a divine mindset in the heart of God‟s people! I‟m
talking about a decision to live holy and righteous, prophetic praise and worship, prophetic in-
tercession, exalting King Jesus, dwelling in his presence and restoration of the office of the
apostles and prophets according to Ephesians 2:20…“and the household of God are built upon
the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone”
or Chief Apostle, “sent one.” Hallelujah…He reigns forever!
That I may know him and the power of his resurrection…
Acts 1:8 says you have this power, so now what?

10. Manifestation
A Glimpse of God’s Glory
The manifestation of the glory of the Lord is a “higher place of praise.” By faith I accepted God
and I have known all my life that He is real. But something happened! On November 4, 1971
my father was killed at his job. The life was literally “snuffed” out of him. He was smashed
between two train boxcars. My family was told that a co-worker thought my father saw the
boxcars and therefore failed to warn him. I cooked my dad’s last breakfast. I received the
devastating telephone call from his supervisor about the accident because my mother was not
at home. I immediately broke-down into tears because I knew my dad wouldn’t live. I called
my sister Roberta who lived in New Jersey, my great-aunt Helen and my aunt Elizabeth to tell
them what had happened. (As of today they have all passed away.)
After the funeral I said to myself “There can be no God who would take someone that I loved
so much.” I had been angry at God for over 20 years. I couldn’t and didn’t realize that this an-
ger separated me from a loving God. I didn’t release that anger until I surrendered my life to
the Lord in 1993. I was empowered by the Holy Spirit and the manifestation of that “higher
place of praise” was evident in my life. “As water reflects a face so a man’s heart reflects the
man.” Proverbs 27:19 (KJV)
Do you want to get a glimpse of the manifestation of God’s glory? Then, what do you believe
it is that you have to do?

11. Words of Wisdom
Minister Carmen M. Carter
The Lord hears your voice, your cry for help!
Listen to my cry for help, my King my God, for to you I pray. In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the
morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation. Psalm 5:2-3
(African American New Devotional Bible—NIV)
Psalm 52:2-3 tell us that God expects us to cry out to him and wait patiently until he blesses us. Unlike many of us,
God takes no ‚pride in ownership‛ and requires no official introduction. He hears our humble cry and His perfect
work is done anonymously.
For many years I wept at night, frustrated because I thought the God I served didn’t seem to be listening. At night I
would clinch my pillow tight, my soul weary with sorrow. I had to do something to get my life right, but my mind was
confused about tomorrow.
Was it He who wasn’t listening or had my inner ear become deafened to the shrill of pain, and decibels of despair that
once resided in my heart? Was it He who wasn’t listening, or had I not counted my blessings for all in life I had yet to
gain?
One can’t help but wonder if joy really comes in the morning, or if the ‚real‛ joy is in the mourning? So, I just keep
crying out to my God in desperation, ‘cause I’m burned out on instant gratification, got carpet burns from kneeling and
supplication, choking on tears and nearing suffocation, my heart beating in rhythmic syncopation, finally laying down
those burdens, and learning to wait in expectation...as He quietly blesses me!
Will you use wisdom and wait in expectation while the Lord continues to bless you, or just what are you going to do?

12. Inspirational Nugget
Dr. Evelyn Keys Spears
Your Words Are Living Words
Check your words. Are you receiving what God has promised, or what you are saying? There
is a simple principle to remember; death and life are in the power of the tongue and we eat the
fruit of it (Proverbs 18:21). Yes, we really do get what we say. If you read Proverbs 18:20, you
will see that a man‟s life, his mortal self, is filled with the fruit or the words of his lips. Why is
this possible?
When God created Adam, He breathed the breath of life into him and Adam became a living
soul. Adam, like all of mankind was created in the image and likeness of God. Once God
breathed into him, Adam not only had His likeness and image, but he also received God‟s life.
So just as God creates with the spoken word, so do you.
Jesus said in John 6:63 that His spoken words are spirit and life. He lives on the inside of you
and you are baptized into Him. So your words are spirit and life. Check it out… hold your
hand in front of your mouth and say, “My words are enveloped in the breath of God, so what I
say will come to pass”. Did you feel your breath on your words? That breath is the breath of
God and His breath is in every word you speak.
So speak life, speak life, speak life and watch what happens in your life.
Now think about it, are you going to choose your words carefully now? ___________

13. Manifested Sons of God
Apostle Vincent R. Pool, Sr.
A Call to Prayer
God is calling his children back to the place of prayer. God's desire has always been to reveal
himself in the fullness of His character, His nature, and His attributes to His children. From the
inception of creation, man's entire purpose was to have fellowship with and to be intimately ac-
quainted with God.
Let's do some biblical exploration. 2 Chronicles 7:14, 'If my people who are called by my name
shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then
will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.' This is God's call
of the hour to the church!
What is God actually saying to the church through this particular verse? Let's listen to the voice
of God exactly as King Solomon heard Him. `If' is a small word with a Big meaning! Whenever
we see the word `if' when dealing with the promises of God, it means that the promise is contin-
gent or conditional. Usually the promise is contingent upon our act or acts of obedience. `My'
usually speaks of something that is personal or belongs to me. So by looking at the first three
words of this verse, we can already see that God is speaking to a unique group of people; those
with whom he is personal or that belong to Him. The next part of this verse gives us a look at
where God is desirous of taking us (that is those of us that do have or are desirous of having a
personal relationship with him) in regards to our relationship with him. God is actually desirous
of bringing us from being personal property of His to being His sons. When we become His
sons, we come to the understanding of who we are in God. We realize that as His sons, we have
complete authority in His name. Everything that the name of God consists of and everything
that belongs to that name has now been made accessible to us.
Just as the first part of this verse revealed who God was talking to, the next part of the verse
tells us exactly what acts of obedience must be followed or completed in order to receive the
promises of God. `Shall humble themselves' is the first act of obedience that God demands of
those that would be His sons or His `church'. God is saying that the attitude and outlook of the
church must change in order to receive His best. The church
as a whole is not walking in its place of authority or domin-
ion because of its overall attitude towards God. The church
has lost its reverential fear of God. In its place we have the
spirit of pride, arrogance, greed or just general indifference.
God is not pleased with this type of attitude in and amongst
his people. God is calling forth those of His sons that will
walk before Him in an attitude of humility and humbleness,
that will reverence His name, and see Him as sovereign
king in all His majestic glory and splendor. Our attitude
must change if we desire to be rightly related to God and to
walk pleasing in His sight.
13
14. Continued from page 13
„And pray' is the next act of obedience that God requires of His children. `And' is a connective
conjunction, so God is saying is that the first step is not complete without the second. Prayer
can be defined in many ways. Probably one of the simplest ways to define prayer is as 'general
conversation with God.' We simply need to spend more time talking with God. Notice that I
said 'with' and not 'to'. The reason for this is that prayer is dialogue and not monologue. God is
strongly desirous of relationship with His children. Relationship means that there is interaction
between two or more parties. `And seek my face' shows us how God is intending to elevate his
children to another level of relationship. As in any relationship, when you first meet someone
and you strike up a general conversation, you are still strangers, then as you begin to spend
more time talking with one another you become casual acquaintances, and then as you begin to
spend more and more time together, talking and sharing together, you reveal more and more
about yourself to this particular individual because you have now become comfortable with this
individual and the two of you have become intimate friends. God was speaking to Solomon on a
level he could understand. In the mindset of a Jew, of which Solomon was, the seeking of a
man's face always denoted or signified an intimate relationship. The bible stated in the book of
Exodus that, 'God spoke to Moses face to face as a man talks to his friend.' In face to face com-
munication with an individual, you literally become one. You begin to understand their thought
patterns, their emotions, and even their desires. God desires to reveal Himself in such a manner
to His children, but we must change our attitudes, begin to spend more time with God to get
truly acquainted with Him, and then to have an overwhelming desire to become intimately ac-
quainted with His nature, His character, and His attributes. The fourth and final act of obedi-
ence in this particular verse says `and turn from their wicked ways'. God was saying to His
church that it was not following the path that He had chosen for it to walk in. God is saying the
same thing to the church today. The church is out of position. The main reason is that there is
not enough prayer going forth to seek the heart and mind of God, especially in our so called
sanctuaries. Instead of prayer being our primary focus, it has pretty much been relegated to a
place of non-essentiality or as a need arises basis. This is neither its primary function or pur-
pose. The church must turn aside from going its own way and turn back to the ways of God. It
is essential not only for the spiritual well being of the church itself, but also for the salvation of
the world. We must walk in obedience in order to receive the promises of God!
The last part of this verse reveals to us the promises of God in response to our acts of obedience. `Then
will I hear from heaven', tells us God is aware of what's going on in our lives, and also how we perceive
Him. As we recognize His sovereignty and act as obedient sons, His ears are open to our cries. `And will
forgive their sins', implies that God is always ready and willing to restore us to our place of sonship. We
must first come to the place where we ourselves recognize that we are walking in the place of disobedi-
ence, which is sin, arise and come back to God, who is waiting with open arms, and receive our restora-
tion. `And will heal their land' signifies complete restoration. Whatever your situation or circumstance,
if you just come to the realization that you are important to God and that He desires to relate with you
through prayer, and that He also desires for you to walk into sonship through your own obedience, you
will truly realize that you are more than a conqueror through Him that loves you!
How do you humble yourself? ________________________________________________
