November 2013 - Issue 6

www.pioneer.com

2013 Harvest Results Are In
This issue contains a sample of key yield comparisons to help you select products for 2014. Keep in mind this is only a
very small part of a much larger data set. There were a lot of variables and stress factors to the 2013 growing season.
Every growing season is different, so continue to select hybrids and varieties based on long term trends, performance at
multiple locations, and spread risk by selecting products across multiple maturities. For more detailed yield comparisons,
along with individual plots from your area, visit www.pioneer.com/yield. Contact your local Pioneer sales professional for
more information and to help you place the right product on your acres.
More and more growers are planting more Pioneer® brand hybrids each year. Here are just a few reasons why:
1.

Pioneer® brand seed corn has improved drydown and yield
potential

7.

Pioneer has a corn portfolio advantage against Goss’ wilt
and blight

2.

The improved stress emergence and stand establishment of
Pioneer® brand seed

8.

3.

An excellent corn product line up against brittle snap

4.

Pioneer has durable, triple-stack trait protection against corn
rootworm with products containing the Herculex® RW trait

Pioneer has a strong yielding triple-stack corn line-up in the
98-105 CRM; and now more opportunities at 95 CRM with
the new, triple-stacked, high yield potential Pioneer®
P9526AMX™ brand corn.

9.

5.

Exceptional drought and stress tolerance with Optimum ®
AQUAmax® hybrids across many maturities

The genetic diversity of Pioneer corn and soybean
germplasm to help mitigate risk

6.

Pioneer has many simple and convenient integrated rootworm refuge products

10. Pioneer has a reputation as a more reliable seed supplier
when seed is needed on-time to plant
11. Pioneer® brand T-Series soybeans continue to raise the bar
on yield potential
Growers across the country still plant more of their acres to
Pioneer brand soybean varieties than any other brand.
Be sure to plant the new Pioneer brand
T-Series soybeans.
Go ahead, read what all the “buzz” is about
and plant more Pioneer on your farm in 2014.
Thank you for your business!

Western MN & Eastern SD newsletter with Plot Results-Nov2013

  • 1. WALKING YOUR FIELDS ® November 2013 - Issue 6 www.pioneer.com 2013 Harvest Results Are In This issue contains a sample of key yield comparisons to help you select products for 2014. Keep in mind this is only a very small part of a much larger data set. There were a lot of variables and stress factors to the 2013 growing season. Every growing season is different, so continue to select hybrids and varieties based on long term trends, performance at multiple locations, and spread risk by selecting products across multiple maturities. For more detailed yield comparisons, along with individual plots from your area, visit www.pioneer.com/yield. Contact your local Pioneer sales professional for more information and to help you place the right product on your acres. More and more growers are planting more Pioneer® brand hybrids each year. Here are just a few reasons why: 1. Pioneer® brand seed corn has improved drydown and yield potential 7. Pioneer has a corn portfolio advantage against Goss’ wilt and blight 2. The improved stress emergence and stand establishment of Pioneer® brand seed 8. 3. An excellent corn product line up against brittle snap 4. Pioneer has durable, triple-stack trait protection against corn rootworm with products containing the Herculex® RW trait Pioneer has a strong yielding triple-stack corn line-up in the 98-105 CRM; and now more opportunities at 95 CRM with the new, triple-stacked, high yield potential Pioneer® P9526AMX™ brand corn. 9. 5. Exceptional drought and stress tolerance with Optimum ® AQUAmax® hybrids across many maturities The genetic diversity of Pioneer corn and soybean germplasm to help mitigate risk 6. Pioneer has many simple and convenient integrated rootworm refuge products 10. Pioneer has a reputation as a more reliable seed supplier when seed is needed on-time to plant 11. Pioneer® brand T-Series soybeans continue to raise the bar on yield potential Growers across the country still plant more of their acres to Pioneer brand soybean varieties than any other brand. Be sure to plant the new Pioneer brand T-Series soybeans. Go ahead, read what all the “buzz” is about and plant more Pioneer on your farm in 2014. Thank you for your business! WALKING YOUR FIELDS® newsletter is brought to you by your local account manager for DuPont Pioneer. It is sent to customers throughout the growing season, courtesy of your Pioneer sales professional.
