Getting Started Create Your Course
Log in to www.coursecompass.com Click on Create/Copy Course
To create a course, type the author’s name, title of textbook or ISBN in the Search Course Materials box  Enter ISBN-10: 0321559444
Enter the name and description (optional) of the course; select course type.
Open the calendar to select the enrollment and course start and end dates.
Select availability option then click on Create Course Now. Create Your Course
Your course name and unique ID appears on the confirmation page.
Your course is created based on the set of materials you selected and could take up to 1 day to process. Create Your Course

Create/Copy Explore Log Out
When you receive the e-mail that your course is ready, log in to CourseCompass to review and customize your course.

  1. You can also Browse by Discipline – select a discipline from the drop-down box and click on All Publishers . Once you select your textbook, click on Select Course Materials and click Go.
  2. Most courses are For Student enrollment; however, if you want to create a course template that you can customize, you would select For Instructor use only (students can’t enroll in these courses).
  3. The default start date is the current date, and the default enrollment end date is nine months from the current date and the maximum end course date is 15 months from course creation date. When the course expires, you will be notified via email when the course will be scheduled for deletion. Note: Unavailable dates are grayed out.
  4. A confirmation page appears with a message that your course is in the process of being created.
  5. It could take up to 1 business day to process, but could take as little as an hour to process.
  6. You do not need to stay connected while your course is created.
  7. A link to your course appears on your personal page in the My CourseCompass widget. You are now ready to set up your course.
