I do not use all social media the same, but they all have value for building a wide network (LinkedIn & Twitter – more professional, Facebook is more casual / social*) Bottom line: it ’s about brand building, recommending and helping others, expanding your network. Build a strong online brand, offer help and information to assist others, and people will want to connect with you. Don’t get “LinkedIn tunnel vision”; leverage all social media where possible to “tell your story” & build your brand.

Twitter is exploding in popularity all over the world with new users signing on every day.
