6. Phase 2: Assign & Enroll Students

• An associate’s degree is a vehicle for income
growth and moving toward a life of self-
sufficiency
• Despite the returns of getting a degree, the
overwhelming majority never complete
• How can we design programs that help low-
income students earn a degree?

18. Vocation Program
• Started by CCFW in 2012
• Is the model from which the demonstration
project is built
• Program provides tuition, case management,
and access to financial assistance to 17
students looking to obtain an associate’s
degree in accounting or airframe maintenance.
