Web 2.0
Web 2.0 refers to the latest generation of
services available on the world wide web that
lets people collaborate and share information
                    online.

         “The Social Web”
Library 2.0
• Gives library users a participatory role in the services
libraries offer and the way they are used.

• “Library 2.0 is all about library users… it's about
participation… involving users in service creation and
  evaluation.” Michael Casey, LibraryCrunch

• Embracing it becomes necessary so as to be in a
position to respond to changing user needs and
ensuring the library is in a strong position to
effectively meet those needs now and in the future.
