1. Ok, I pulled that name out of my butt because if there is a real technical name, I don’t know it, so please don’t send me a gazillion emails and comments saying its really called something else. I’m perverse, I’d leave it named that just to annoy people then. (lol) <br />So, enough chit chat, let’s learn a new technique!<br />Original: <br />step 1 - ALWAYS when you plan to do major changes DUPLICATE your photo in case you mess up you still have the one you've done your basic editing to already. <br />step 2 - go to Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Black & White (PSE users - Duplicate your picture again then go to Enhance>Convert to Black and White) <br />step 3 - Adjust the Layers on your [CS] original [PSE] B&W copy so that picture has a high contrast <br />step 4 - Select your B&W, go to you blending modes, select screen and set the opacity to 80ish <br />step 5 - Set your foreground color to a dusty pink and your background color to a light yellow. Slect your original copy, then go to Layer>New Layer Adjustment>Gradient Map. <br />step 6 - Select the gradient map layer and set it's blending mode to Hard Light and the opacity to 75ish <br />And voila! You're all done! You can replace the gradient colors opacity and blending modes to suit your pictures and layouts. As a finishing touch on mine I selected my original copy again then went to Filter>Render>Lens Flare and put it in the top corner of the picture and made it big enough so that the edge of the flare just touched Belly's head. <br />Have fun!<br />(side note – you’ll notice between steps 4 and 5 my picture looks different, darker, ignore that. I had to retake the screen shot and forgot to do some touch ups first just look at what its pointing to.)<br />
