4. If you have not changed your password from ccsd2013
yet, you can by logging into the computer and then
pressing Control-Alt-Delete. Then you can select to
change your password.
Remember, your login and passwords should not be
shared or used by other people (AUP Policy).
5. It is important to know that
your BYLD devices will not
work until you have logged
into a school computer and
changed your password!
7. Once you have changed your password, you will be able to
register your login and password into an Online Self-Serve
Password Reset called FIM. You will not have to wait for
the county to reset your password if you forget it for some
reason.
All you have do is go to http://register.cherokee.k12.ga.us.
Within FIM, you will be asked to enter your new password
and will be presented with a list of 10 personal questions
to answer. You can answer as few as four, but the more
you answer, the better secured you will be. If a password
is ever forgotten, you will be able to go to
http://reset.cherokee.k12.ga.us and answer three security
questions to reset the password by yourself.
9. Most of you know how to check your grades in Aspen, but many
new students do not know the steps.
There are a few different ways to get to the student portal for
Aspen.
1. On a school computer, type in sis into the search/URL bar and
then ENTER, and the login page will open. You use the same
login and password as you do to login into the computer.
2. You could always just Google Cherokee County Aspen to get
the login page.
3. You can go to Sequoyah’s main website and choose Parent
Access/Community and then to Access Student Grades.
Again you will see the login page.
12. Once logged in, you can
access your grades and
averages.
You can access your email
and Office365 account. You
will need to login slightly
different this time. You
need to login to Office365
with your email address-
ef13456@cherokeek12.net
and then your regular
password.
