- 8. Both Texas and Florida knew they had to partner to accomplish some of the goals in this grant. So they started with looking for a state with same LIMS (common denominator). In this case, Florida and Texas both use LABWARE with many similar characteristics like population, natural disasters, wildlife, commercial fishing industries, waters around the state, and international visitors, even illegal immigrants.
