2. The Rockingest Nana On Twitter: @J_Dimps
If your Nana thinks she’s hip because she’s on
Facebook, tell her she’s gonna have to learn a
thing or two if she wants to compete with Josie
Dimples, the rockingest grandma on Twitter.
Eighty-year-old Josie, or @J_Dimps, has 80k
follows on Twitter and is going strong. She’s the
definition of a ‘pistol’ and is pretty active on
Twitter. Her newest goal? To reach 100k followers
before she’s 100.
How did this whole thing start?
3. The New York Times blog tells us:
Life became listless for Josephine Lamberti, 80, after her husband
died several years back, so she turned to a grandson, Donny
Brandefine, who she knew made those video “thingies’’ for the
Internet.
“I was bored and I wanted some action, so I says, ‘Donny, you want
to teach me the computer so I can, you know, tweet or
something?’”
Because of his grandmother’s smile, he gave her the nickname Josie
Dimples — J-Dimps, for short — and began making videos of her as
a wisecracking grandma with a secret penchant for “Jersey Shore”-
style, fist-pumping dance moves.

33. Fireworks (Katy Perry)
Do you ever feel like a plastic bag Baby, you're a firework
Drifting through the wind, wanting to start again? Come on, let your colors burst
Do you ever feel, feel so paper thin Make 'em go, oh
You're gonna leave 'em falling down
Like a house of cards, one blow from caving in?
You don't have to feel like a waste of space
Do you ever feel already buried deep? You're original, cannot be replaced
If you only knew what the future holds
Six feet under screams but no one seems to hear
After a hurricane comes a rainbow
a thing
Do you know that there's still a chance for you Maybe you're reason why all the doors are
'Cause there's a spark in you? closed
So you could open one that leads you to the
perfect road
You just gotta ignite the light and let it shine Like a lightning bolt, your heart will blow
Just own the night like the 4th of July And when it's time, you'll know
'Cause baby, you're a firework
Come on, show 'em what you're worth
Make 'em go, oh
As you shoot across the sky
35. Other Tips
• It is not enough just to know the
meaning of a word .You also need to
know: what words it is usually
associated with, whether it has any
grammatical characteristics, and
how it is pronounced.
• Try to learn new words not in
isolation but in phrases. Instead of
learning just "rocky" / just
"mountain", you've learned two new
words, AND how to use them.
