Functions Direct digital waveform: The U2761A adopts the latest direct digital synthesis (DDS) technology that digitally creates arbitrary waveforms and frequencies from a single and fixed frequency source. DDS offers the precision of digitally controlled logic reducing the complexity of the generator while increasing the stability. Internal modulation Internal AM, FM, PM, ASK, FSK, and PSK modulation makes it easy to modulate waveforms without the need for a separate modulation source. Linear and logarithmic sweeps are also built in, with sweep rates selectable from 1 ms to 500 s. Pulse generation The U2761A can generate pulses from 500 μHz to 5 MHz. With variable period, pulse width, and amplitude parameters, the U2761A is ideally suited to a wide variety of applications requiring flexible pulse width signals.

Tracing the root cause of a performance issue requires a lot of patience, experience, and focus. It’s so hard that we sometimes attempt to guess by trying out tentative fixes, but that usually results in frustration, messy code, and a considerable waste of time and money. This talk explains how to correctly zoom in on a performance bottleneck using three levels of profiling: distributed tracing, metrics, and method profiling. After we learn to read the JVM profiler output as a flame graph, we explore a series of bottlenecks typical for backend systems, like connection/thread pool starvation, invisible aspects, blocking code, hot CPU methods, lock contention, and Virtual Thread pinning, and we learn to trace them even if they occur in library code you are not familiar with. Welcome to the training module on USB Modular Function Arbitrary Waveform Generator U2761A, where-by we will study its features, outlook Dimensions and some of its unique characteristics.
The Agilent U2761A is a 20 MHz USB modular function generator with arbitrary waveform and pulse generation capability. It can operate as a standalone or modular unit when used with the U2781A USB modular product chassis.
Here shows the Dimension of the product in an pictorial view. It is 117.00 mm × 180.00 mm × 41.00 mm with bumpers and 105.00 mm × 175.00 mm × 25.00 mm without bumpers.
This slide shows product Characteristics and Specification like Remote Interface using High speed USB2.0 and USBTMC 488.2 class device. The power consumption is 2A working at 12 Volt DC. It conforms to Safety compliance certification from IEC for USA and Canada and also is EMC Compliant.
Here we show some common characteristics of this product. The U2761A has an amplitude range from 40mV to 5Vpeak to peak into a 50ohm load. The DC offset has an accuracy of +/- 1% of amplitude or +/- 5mV. It has a resolution of 4 digits and the internal frequency has an accuracy of +/-8ppm in one year. The U2761A offers short-circuit protection, mains isolation of 42Volts peak with respect to ground.

The modulation schemes supported are Amplitude, Frequency, Phase Modulation and Shift Keying techniques.
Here we show the DDS (Direct Digital Synthesis) Technology which the U2761A adopts. DDS offers the precision of digitally controlled logic reducing the complexity of the generator and increases stability. Pulse generation of this device ranges from 500 μHz micro hz to 5 Mega Hz with variable duty cycle.
