Unpacking Unit of Competency Terminology – Worksheet
Units of Competency usually contain a number of components. Some units will
separate some of these components into different sections. Essentially the
information in each unit is the same, even if separated under different component
headings.
All components of a Unit of Competency provide useful information to assist you to
plan your delivery and assessment.
Activity:
1 Identify a Unit of Competency to work with and ensure you have printed out the
entire Unit of Competency document
2 Highlight on your unit, where you would find the answer to the questions below
3 Write down next to each question, which component of the unit would provide you
