1. GAME PLAY
This set of slides is designed to show the direct
correlation between games and
being, doing, belonging and becoming. The
slides I have chosen show different types of
game play and why they are important to us as
Occupational Therapy students and, more
directly how game play has aided recovery of
clients who had strokes which I observed on
Fieldwork placement.

2. A BRIEF OVERVIEW!
 This short series of slides is about stroke rehabilitation games
facilitated by Occupational Therapists within a “Day Hospital” setting. I
chose this topic for my slides because I found that not only is game play
great for rehab purposes but also improves quality of life by giving the
patients a sense of belonging in some instances. I was first introduced
to the concepts of day hospital and game play for stroke rehab in my
first fieldwork placement in which I spent one month in a community and
AT and R setting in a rural hospital.
