2. When considering imaging for my magazine
precautions have to be taken in regard to
appropriate content for my target audience and
chosen genre.
As my genre is Bhangra I will be styling my
artist with the ‘typical image’ of a Bhangra
artist, this will include in-fashion clothing and
props
My target audience is 16+, so I the main image
fits in that age range , so they can relate to it
well as well as understand it better
3. Appropriate material
For my magazine to look successful, I have to ensure that I
use appropriate shooting material which reflects my genre. I
believe the images below are appropriate because they are
wearing appropriate clothing, the image has good use of light
and it has a plain background which allows me to add colours
or effects which is visible to the viewer, this will in turn create
a successful magazine, here are the shots below
4. Inappropriate shots
The images below will not work within my magazine, this is
because the first image does not have suitable background
and you are unable to put any information around it, as well
as that the lighting is not very good which again will affect the
overall look of the page, the second image has no relevance
to the genre, aswell as this it would not look suitable as the
main image is looking down towards the floor, the image
creates the effect that he is trying to pick him up, this again
will not look appropriate within my magazine
