In this day and age, there are so many things that we
have to concentrate on as business owners. If we don’t
start outsourcing some of these tasks we’ll never finish
what we need to get done.
Learn the 10 steps in
OUTSOURCING your online
business.
3. 1 DEFINE
Go and figure out exactly what it is you do and what you
don’t want to do. Outsource those things that you don’t
want to do. List it into 4 groups.
“What I do”
“What I do that I don’t like
doing”
“What I want to do”
“What can I delegate”
4. 2 DECIDE
DECIDE WHAT’S FIRST! Base it from the list created
above.
Write out exactly what it is needed to be
done.
Outline the action steps you would follow
Break those steps into simple actionable step
Give your outsourced employee the
information and results you’re looking for
5. 3 IDENTITY
LOOK FOR THE SORT OF PERSON YOU LIKE TO
HAVE AS YOUR WORKER. Treat this like any other job
interview process. Ask them things like:
What sort of skill level do they have?
How many hours in a week are they
looking for?
What sort of qualifications do they have?
Are they good at speaking in English; can
they communicate very well?
6. 4 POST YOUR JOB
There’s a number of places to go to and post jobs.
Create a document that outlines all the things that you're
looking for in a candidate.
What sort of skills are you looking for?
What sort of English can they speak?
What sort of money are they looking
for?
You can definitely add more criteria.
7. 5 SEEK
LOOK FOR THE RIGHT APPLICANT! You’re
going to get a whole range of applicants.
Don’t get too hung up on the price. Look at
where your budget is at and what these people
mean by charging that sort of price.
8. 6 SORTING THROUGH THE
APPLICATIONS
Sort through those applications. Take the application as
evaluation tool in the first place.
Check their resumes with past
employment
Verify what sort of project’s they’ve
done for other companies.
Look at the answers that they have for
other people’s job postings.
9. 7 INTERVIEW
Typically like a normal interview. But the question is, how do you
interview properly?
Make the interview questions in
advance.
Estimate how much skill they possess
regarding the particular topic you want
them to focus on.
Give them a scale of 1-10 to answer
Check out their portfolio if there is.
Test their knowledge on the spot
10. 8 TRIAL PERIOD
You’ll find so many people have a range of falsities on
their resumes particularly on the online world. SO
CONFIRM IT!
Give them a task to do.
Don't give it to them entirely.
Leave some of it missing.
11. 9 TRAINING
TRAIN AND ORGANIZE THEM.
Utilize screen capture programs like:
Screenflow ,Camptasia and Jing. You may opt to
use tools like Dropbox or Googledocs for
sharing community folders.
12. 10 LET GO!
The final thing is let go. Let them go and
do the work. Don’t micromanage them
otherwise you’ll find that they won’t do
their jobs properly.
