▪ When you write meta keywords for your site pages, start by scanning
your page
▪ Make a list of the most important words you see on the page
▪ Read through the list and pick 10 to 15 words that most accurately

▪ The keyword density should be between 2% to 4% of the total number
of words on each page type that is 160 to 300 characters
▪ You can also generate the most prominent keywords for your site
pages after publishing them, by copying the page URL & pasting it on

Step 1:
▪ Log in to your site admin panel with your login id and password

▪ Click on the ‘Promote’ tab and select ‘SEO suite’ from the drop down
menu

▪ Click on the ‘PAGE INFO’ link on ‘SEO Suite’ page

▪ Select ‘Meta Keywords’ from the list, under the ‘PAGE INFO’ link

▪ The ‘Default Formats’ tab would be automatically selected

▪ You can set some common and important keywords appearing on each
page type as the default keywords for it

▪ It helps in search engine optimization of your site pages

Step 6:
▪ Enter the meta keywords for each page type, such as site Home Pages,
category pages, brand pages, product pages, My Pages, 404 Pages in the
blank field provided besides them

▪ Then click the ‘Save Changes’ button present at the bottom left of the
page to save the default keyword settings for each site page type


Good to know

▪ Keep your list of keywords or keyword phrases down to 2%-4% unique
words or phrases

▪ Separate the words or phrases using comma

▪ Do not repeat keywords or phrases

▪ Put the most important words or phrases at the beginning of the list of
keywords
