Magazines lead a long and fascinating life. They take the time to be admired, read,
touched and experienced from every angle. Magazines are bought or snatched
from the mailbox by greedy hands that are full of expectation. They are initially
scanned by curious eyes that browse through them and become increasingly
interested in reading the content. In the next hours and days, a magazine will
be picked up time and again to be read briefly or extensively, depending on the
reader’s mood, the time and the location. As a result, magazines can extend their
lifespan, across various instants, for a few hours, and even days or weeks. They are
picked up again and again and devoured. And every time, they succeed in drawing
in their audience, which is alternately critical, surprised, amused, touched and
generally enjoys the experience. And naturally, they change hands: from mother to
daughter, from friend to friend, from colleague to colleague…
