Mediterranean films at major international film
festivals has increased by 20%.
- 80% of professionals who benefited from
training through the Euromed Audiovisual III
grant projects have said that the training
enabled them to take part in more film festivals
and markets, and thus dramatically improve their

7. • A new South Mediterranean film distributor
network: MEDIS. Launched in December 2012,
MEDIS is the first network of its kind to bring
together film distributors from across the Arab
region and the European Union
• “Socrates Training”. To address a scarcity of
script editors in the South Mediterranean region,
in 2014, Euromed Audiovisual held the first
training initiative for aspiring script editors from
the region.
