Relative Location :
• The Caribbean is positioned in both the northern and western hemispheres.
• The overall area includes the Caribbean Sea and all of its islands located to the southeast of the Gulf of
Mexico, east of Central America and Mexico, and to the north of South America.
• The islands are bordered in the east and north by the Atlantic Ocean.
