1. Accuracy
• Absolute Accuracy
• It’s defined as « lenght of smaller edge that Pro/E can
regenerate». It means that if in a model with Absolute Accuracy
setted at 0.01 (mm) user creates a features that generate an edge
smaller than 0.01 (mm) (or line of tangency or single-dimensioned
entities) the feature will fail.
• Relative Accuracy
• Relative Accuracy is defined as the ratio between Absolute
Accuracy and model dimension «L»:
• Relative Accuracy = Absolute Accuracy / L
• «L» value can be found in Info-> Model Size (is the main
diagonal measure of the parallelepiped that includes all the
model).
• Being a ratio between lengths, the relative accuracy is a number
without units.
