Window 7 support outgoing connection
To set up RemoteApp and Desktop Connection by providing a URL. On a
computer that is running Windows 7 :
click Start
click Control Panel.
search box, type RemoteApp
click RemoteApp and Desktop Connections.
Click Set up a new connection with RemoteApp and Desktop Connections.
In the Connection URL box, type the URL for the connection that
your administrator provided to you. For example,
type https://server1.contoso.com/RDWeb/Feed/webfeed.aspx.
Click Next.
On the Ready to set up the connection page
click Next.
After the connection is successfully set up, note the name of the connection (for
example, Contoso)
click Finish.
Close RemoteApp and Desktop Connections.

To access the connection :
click Start
click All Programs
click RemoteApp and Desktop Connections
click the name of the connection (for example, Contoso).
4. • To set up RemoteApp and Desktop Connection by using a
configuration file. On a computer that is running Windows 7.
- double-click the configuration file that your administrator provided
to you.
- On the Ready to set up the connection page
- click Next.
- After the connection is successfully set up, note the name of the
connection (for example, Contoso)
- click Finish.
