I could knock on about the experience our staff gain working on international concerts, or the
ridiculously huge investment we make in technology to provide the level of complexity and

Our staff really know what they’re doing. We’re a small team, and we don’t manufacture clones
in black shirts in a small room out the back—we hire the best, and they stay with us, because it’s

5. A process you’re familiar with.
Working with Mirage.
Once we have a clear brief, we start the design process. If it’s straightforward, you’ll receive a
proposal within 24 hours for your approval, with a breakdown of equipment, all information
relating to dates, time, venue and rooms, and of course a clear outline of associated charges.
If the solution doesn’t meet your budget, we’ll design one that will.
A creative masterpiece may take a little longer, but we’ll keep you informed every step of the
way, so you’ll never be left wondering when the paperwork will arrive.
The only thing you have to worry about is approving the final design over a coffee (which,
incidentally, is on us).

1. The role of audio visual technology has never been more crucial to the event industry
than it is today. Finding imaginative, attention-grabbing ways to present on-screen
content demands a fluidity of design, a continual evolution and flow of ideas.
2. One of our passions is designing on-screen graphics that engage and invigorate. This
animated content is also known as ‘motion graphics’, leading us to incorporate this idea
into our branding.
Together, these two ideas have been amalgamated into the tagline ’Ideas in Motion’ .

8. Using software, media can be
created to play as a single
image across multiple screens.

12. Sometimes referred to as
‘IMAG’, or Image
Magnification, filming an image
of the presenter as they speak
and displaying it on screen is a
great way of keeping audiences
involved in what’s happening
on stage.
In addition to projection services,
we also supply a range of camera
and switching equipment to the
concert and touring industry, as for
the Red Hot Chili Peppers when they
visited Vector Arena.

13. With the ability to provide
audio to audiences of up to
5,000 people, Mirage can
supply systems for almost
every type of venue, from
conference rooms through to
stadiums.

14. In larger venues, truss is hung
in the roof to support lighting
and audio systems so that they
can cover the whole room.
When the truss is lit, this
becomes part of the room look.

the ground to frame a stage, or on
stage as part of the set, as shown
here at the AFTA awards at the Aotea
Centre.
