Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to the Second Grade! We are very excited to welcome you and your child to a new school year. All the
second grade teachers are looking forward to a great school year with your child. The following supplies are needed for
the children to bring in on the first day of school. All materials must be labeled with your child’s name using a black
permanent marker.
School Supplies:
8 hard covered WIDE-RULED marble notebooks (no spirals)
8 folders with bottom pockets- 2 red, 2 green, 1 blue, 1 yellow, 1 orange, 1 black
1 yellow writing legal pad (letter size: 8 ½ in. x 11 ¾ in)
1 pack of white computer paper (8 ½ in. x 11 ¾ in)
2 packs of wide ruled loose leaf paper
3 packs of sharpened # 2 Ticonderoga pencils
1 package of erasers
1 box of Crayola Crayons
1 glue stick
1 scissor
Soft pencil case (large enough to fit supplies, but small enough to fit in the desk)
1 roll of scotch tape
1 box of gallon size Ziploc Bags
1 box of quart size Ziploc Bags
1 pack of baby wipes
2 rolls of paper towels
1 bottle of hand sanitizer
1 bottle of antibacterial soap
3 boxes of tissues
1 recent picture of your child
1 inch/centimeter ruler
1 covered pencil sharpener
1 package of post-its
Feel free to come to school on Tuesday, September 6th
or Wednesday, September 7th
from 9:30 AM to
12:00 PM to drop off your child’s school supplies. Please place items in a large, clearly labeled bag with
your child’s first and last name, class number and room number.
