Sex is a part of life: Sex is a part of expressing our sexuality and sexuality begins the day we’re born and ends the day we die Sex is never an emergency: No one has ever died from no having sex. There isn’t a perfect age or time to have sex. People have to decide for themselves when they’re ready. If a person feels that he/she is not ready then they should never be pressure into having sex. Sex is something we see, and hear about all the time: Today we receive more messages about sex than ever before. It’s in music we listen to, the movies we watch and the magazines we read. Sometimes we don’t even realize that the messages are there. Sex is something that some people don’t like to talk about: Even though we see and hear about it all the time, sex is a topic that many people feel uncomfortable talking about. Some people believe that talking to teens about sex encourages them to have it. We know that that is not the case and that it is NOT talking about sex ahead of time that gets people into trouble. Sex is a big deal: Sex can be a wonderful, fulfilling part of life when the time is right, but it also comes with some risks.
