2. ROSUVASTATIN

Antihyperlipidemic
INDICATIONS:
Rosuvastatin is used in conjunction with dietary modification, in the treatment of hypercholesterolaemia
particularly in type lla and llb hyperlipoproteinaemias. It may also be given prophylactically as an adjunct
to diet in hypercholesterolaemic patient with ischaemic heart disease.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Rosuvastatin is given as an initial dose of 5 to 10 mg at night or as prescribed by the physician.
The dose may be adjusted at intervals of not less than 4 weeks up to a maximum of 40 mg once daily
at night or as prescribed by the physician.

FORMULATION:
Each tablet contains 15mg Pioglitazone and 850mg Metformin HCl.
INDICATION:
Actosmet (Pioglitazone and metformin hydrochloride) is indicated as an adjunct to diet
and exercise to improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes who are already
treated with a combination of pioglitarizone and metformin or whose diabetes is not
adequately controlled with metformin alone, or for those who have initially responded
to pioglitazone alone and require additional glycemic control.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
One tablet or twice daily and could be adjusted by the physician according to patient’s

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
 Hypersensitivity to metoprolol or any other beta-blocker or any component of the product
 Hypertensive and angina patients with the following conditions:
-Sinus bradycardia
-Heart block greater than first degree

-Sick sinus syndrome
-Severe peripheral arterial circulatory disorders
-Pheochromocytoma

-Heart rate <45 beats/minute

FORMULATION:
Each 5 ml (teaspoonful) contains:
Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide....................................15mg

INDICATIONS:
Relieves cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation
as may occur with a cold. Helps loosen phlegm (mucus) and
thin bronchial secretions to make coughs more productive.
Helps relieve chest congestion. Expectorant
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
2 to under 6 years....2.5mL (1/2 teaspoonful) every 6 hours
6 to under 12 years......5 ml (1 teaspoonful) every 6 hours
12 years to Adult................10 ml (2 teaspoonfuls) every 6 hours
Do not exceed recommended dosage. For children 2 to under 6 years of age consult
a healthcare professional before use.
OVERDOSAGE:
In case of accidental overdose, discontinue use and seek
professional assistance immediately.

9. PRECAUTIONS:
Discontinue use and ask a doctor or healthcare
Professional if cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back,
or is accompanied by fever, rash or persistent headaches.
Patients are advised to ask a doctor if they have chronic
Cough as occurs with smoking or chronic lung disease
Such as asthma or emphysema.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
DRUG INTERACTION:
Do not take this product if you are taking a prescription of
Monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or for 14 days after
Stopping the MAOI drug.
PREGNANCY AND LACTATION:
As with any medication, women who are pregnant or
Breastfeeding a baby should seek the advice of a doctor
before using product.
CONTRAINDICATION:
