Regional Airport Asset Management
   and Development Briefing Day
Monday – 5th September 2011
Regional airports are of crucial social and economic importance for Australia’s regional, rural and remote communities. Yet,
operating, maintaining, safeguarding and developing existing aerodromes in a cost-effective and efficient manner, with limited
management resources, often poses a major challenge to local government operators. The Regional Airport Asset Management and
Development Briefing Day is designed specifically to give local government managers whose responsibilities include aspects of the
planning, design, operation or management of these vital community assets, a thorough understanding of the various issues
needed to develop and realise the right strategic direction for your essential infrastructure. As a participant of this unique forum
you will enjoy succinct presentations on a wide variety of topics with plenty of time for questions and group discussion.
