                                                      lunga all'eroe non lodato di onore di la guerra del Texas per indipendenza, Joseph Bonnell, un codice categoria di
                                                      West Point di 1825 A 2 pomeridiane sabato il 6 marzo 2010 la società di West Point del Texas centrale condurrà
                                                      una cerimonia al museo di storia della condizione del Bob Bullock il Texas a Austin per commemorare eroismo
                                                      straordinario del tenente Joseph Bonnell che, agente da solo in 1836, ha impedetto una grande forza dei guerrieri
                                                      ostili l'attacco dell'esercito del Texas nell'ambito dell'ordine del General Sam Houston.




PURPOSE:, presented in memory of Captain Joseph Bonnell, West Point class of 1825, 3rd
US Infantry Regiment and Army of the Republic of Texas, Aide to General Sam Houston and Hero
of the Texas War for Independence.

SCOPE: Two awards, presented to a junior Officer (0-1 to 0-3) and a junior Non
Commissioned Officer (E-4 to E-6) in the Texas Army National Guard.

CRITEREA: Awarded to individuals who best exemplify the qualities displayed by Captain
Bonnell. They include professionalism, integrity, inspiring trust in others, courage, ingenuity,
use of alternatives to the application of combat power, and the ability to inspire those traits in
their subordinates while deployed on active duty.

SELECTION: Selection of honorees and preparation of citations to be
accomplished by Texas Army National Guard.
FREQUENCY: To be awarded annually or as jointly determined by the Adjutant
General, Texas and the President of the West Point Society of Central Texas.
PRESENTATION: To be presented by a General Officer (Active or Retired)
representing the West Point Society of Central Texas at a ceremony to be held at
Camp Mabry, Texas on or about American Heroes Day or other suitable occasions.
CONTENT: Prepared by the West Point Society of Central Texas: Framed
certificates provided by the WPSCT and citations provided by TXARNG detailing
the service rendered by the recipients of the award, accompanied by letters of
commendation from the President of the West Point Society of Central Texas.

CRITEREA: Awarded to individuals who best exemplify the qualities displayed by Captain Bonnell.
