2. Genesis 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast
hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree,
of which I commanded thee, saying,Thou shalt not eat of it:
cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all
the days of thy life;
18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou
shalt eat the herb of the field;
19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread
4. Genesis 8:20 And Noah builded an altar unto the Lord; and
took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered
burnt offerings on the altar.
21 And the Lord smelled a sweet savour; and the Lord said in his
heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake;
for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither
will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.
22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold
and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not
cease.
5. Mark 4:26 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man
should cast seed into the ground;
27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should
spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.
28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade,
then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.
6. Luke 8:10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the
mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that
seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
11 Now the parable is this:The seed is the word of God.
12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the
devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they
should believe and be saved.
7. Luke 8:13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear,
receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a
while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they
have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and
pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and
good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit
with patience.
8. Romans 1:15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the
gospel to you that are at Rome also.
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power
of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first,
and also to the Greek.
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to
faith: as it is written,The just shall live by faith.
Salvation – Strong’s 4991 – soteria – (welfare, prosperity,
deliverance, preservation, salvation, safety)
9. Galatians 3:5 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit,
and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the
law, or by the hearing of faith?
6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for
righteousness.
7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the
children of Abraham…
9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
10. Romans 10:8 …The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and
in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and
shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the
dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and
with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11. Jeremiah 17:5 Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that
trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart
departeth from the Lord.
6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see
when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the
wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.
7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope
the Lord is.
8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that
spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat
cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the
year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
12. 2 Corinthians 9:6 (Amplified) [Remember] this: he who
sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and
grudgingly, and he who sows generously [that blessings may come
to someone] will also reap generously and with blessings.
7 Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and
purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under
compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above
other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a
cheerful (joyous,“prompt to do it”) giver [whose heart is in his
giving].
13. 2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace (every
favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you
may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need
be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support
and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable
donation].
10 And [God] Who provides seed for the sower and bread for
eating will also provide and multiply your [resources for] sowing
and increase the fruits of your righteousness [which manifests
itself in active goodness, kindness, and charity].
14. Isaiah 55:10 “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from
heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
11
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
