 God’s testimony is the 10 commandments

 The Sanctuary deals with the sin problem

at the close of probation. Ps. 119: 126, 144 & 152
 Romans 6:23 The wages of sin is death

transgresseth also the law: for sin is the
transgression of the law.

28:15 Thou [wast] perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast
created, till iniquity was found in thee.
28:16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the
midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast
thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O
covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.”
Sin started in heaven before the world was made
Satan’s activity had to be against the Law or it wouldn’t have been a
sin

20. Satan’s Sin
 Revelation “12:7 And there was war in heaven:
Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and
the dragon fought and his angels,
 12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found
any more in heaven.
 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old
serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth
the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and
his angels were cast out with him.
 After Satan sinned in heaven he came to earth and got
Adam and Eve to sin. The rest is history.

22. Satan will die!!!!
 Ezekiel 28 “…. therefore will I bring forth a
fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour
thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the
earth in the sight of all them that behold
thee.
 28:19 All they that know thee among the
people shall be astonished at thee: thou
shalt be a terror, and never [shalt] thou [be]
any more.

23. Satan Will Die!!!!!
 2 Peter 2:4 For if God spared not the
angels that sinned, but cast [them] down
to hell, and delivered [them] into chains
of darkness, to be reserved unto
judgment;
 Death will be the portion of all sinners,
angels and humans
 The complete sin problem comes to an
end at the end of the world

 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, [one]
like the Son of man came with the clouds of
heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and
they brought him near before him.
 7:14 And there was given him dominion, and
glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations,
and languages, should serve him: his
dominion [is] an everlasting dominion, which
shall not pass away, and his kingdom [that]
which shall not be destroyed.
 This is the conclusion of the plan of salvation,
the judgment of man and reward of the faithful.

reject the commandment of God, that ye
may keep your own tradition.
 7:13 Making the word of God of none
effect through your tradition, which ye
have delivered: and many such like
things do ye.
 Scripture always precedes traditions

 The vision of Daniel 8 tells us when
the Sanctuary was to be cleansed
 The cleansing of the Sanctuary
reveals when the judgment is to take
place or to start.

saint said unto that certain [saint] which spake, How long
[shall be] the vision [concerning] (1) the daily [sacrifice],
and the (2) transgression of desolation, to give both (3) the
sanctuary and (4) the host to be trodden under foot?
 8:14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three
hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
 Note, the 4 specific items on the agenda are dealt with at
the same time, at the end of the 2300 year prophecy.

 Daniel 8:17 “Understand, O son of man: for at the time of
the end [shall be] the vision.
 Thus it has to be in New Testament times and the
heavenly Sanctuary that has been corrupted by a
counterfeit priesthood.

 1. The time element:
 Dan. 8:14 And he said unto me, Unto two
thousand and three hundred days; then shall
the sanctuary be cleansed.
 Sanctuary cleansed only on the Day of
Atonement

transgression of desolation, Sanctuary, host
 Cleansed after 2300 years - a prophecy of the
final cleansing

 2.The daily or intercessory ministry:
 The daily intercessory with forgiveness of
sin done by Jesus as our High Priest in
heaven was replaced by a human
priesthood forgiving sin.
 This erroneous teaching was to be
corrected at the end of the 2300 year
prophecy

 3. Transgression of Desolation is the same
as “The Abomination of Desolation”
mentioned by Jesus in Matthew 24:15
 This term is used four times in the book of
Daniel, once for Pagan Rome and three
times for the counterfeit priesthood.
 The counterfeit priesthood is thee great
abomination that causes a desolation in the
plan of salvation.

The Ark in the Temple of God
contains The Holy Law, the earthly,
was after the pattern of the heavenly.
THE COUNTERFIET TEMPLE
Altar at St. Peters contains bones of
dead, pope made saints. (no Law in
this altar)
In the Mass the Pope bows the knee
in reverence to the dead saints bones
in the altar. Not to God.
In the Mass, the Catholic Communion
service, the priest claims the power
to recreate Jesus in the bread and
wine into the actual body and blood
of Jesus.
What power the priest has!
He can create his Creator!!

46. THE POWER OF THE PRIEST
 Is a fallen sinful human priest capable of
judging first, then to forgive or not to forgive
the sinner?
 According to this statement God cannot
forgive any sinner until the priest gives his
approval.
 Thus the power of the priest is above the
power of God in forgiveness.

48. The Sanctuary
 This is how the heavenly Sanctuary was trodden under foot
 The Sanctuary trodden under foot was to be cleansed
 The final phase of the Sanctuary services in O. T. times
was portrayed with the Day of Atonement. (removing sin)
 This service prefigured the great judgment day at the end
of the world.
 This service had been lost sight of and needed to be
restored, putting Jesus back as High Priest and forgiver of
sin and remover of sin, finally from the Sanctuary.
 The restoration and the cleansing of the Temple on the
Day of Atonement was to commence at the end of the
2300 year prophecy.

50. THE DAY OF ATONEMENT




 Type Vs Antitype
Only Sanctuary in 1844 was the heavenly where
Jesus is the High Priest.
No human priesthood officiates in the heavenly.
On Day of Atonement was the only time when
High Priest could go into the Most Holy place to
remove the sins from the Sanctuary
In 1844 the Sanctuary services changed from the
Holy to the Most Holy place, the final service in the
plan of salvation.

51. Revelation 3:7+8
 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These
things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the
key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and
shutteth, and no man openeth;
 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an
open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little
strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my
name.
 The open and shut door theory took place in 1844 when
Jesus started his final ministry in the Most Holy Place.
JUDGMENT TIME

53. Hebrews
 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good
things to come, by a greater and more perfect
tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of
this building;
 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by
his own blood he entered in once into the holy place,
having obtained eternal redemption [for us].
 The services conducted in the Holy Place, transfer of sin
with forgiveness
 This tells us immediately that there is a type and an
antitype or an earthly and a heavenly Sanctuary.
 Sanctuary’s three phases: Sacrifice, Intercession,
Judgment

54. Consider the Vision








9:21 Yea, whiles I [was] speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom
I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly,
touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
9:22 And he informed [me], and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am
now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.
9:23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came
forth, and I am come to show [thee]; for thou [art] greatly beloved:
therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.
The vision is recorded in Chapter 8 and is 2300 years long. (v.14)
There was no actual beginning or ending point revealed in chapter 8
The vision begins with the time of Media-Persia (v.3 + 20 starting in 539 B.C.)
In Chapter 9 Gabriel reveals the actual beginning date.
The beginning point deals with 70 weeks or a 490 year portion of the 2300
year prophecy.

Know therefore and understand, [that] from the
going forth of the commandment to restore
and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the
Prince [shall be] seven weeks, and threescore
and two weeks: the street shall be built again,
and the wall, even in troublous times.

59. The Beginning of the 2300 Years.
 Ezra 6:14 And the elders of the Jews builded, and they
prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet
and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they builded, and
finished [it], according to the commandment of the God of
Israel, and according to the commandment of Cyrus, and
Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.
 The third date – the final commandment of
the third king was in 457 B. C.

When Jesus comes out of the Heavenly Sanctuary He comes to
this earth to claim his people. This will be the conclusion of the
Day of Atonement. (Judgment or end of the plan of salvation)

Something as important as the final Judgment has to be
announced

 At the time of those activities comes chapter 14 with the
sealed 144,000 and their message which is the Three
Angel’s Messages.
 Prophecy – 2300 Judgment time predicted
 THE FIRST ANGEL’S MESSAGE
 Rev. 14:6,7 - Hour of his judgment is come - found in
the Three Angel’s Messages and preached in 1844.
 Preached at the exact time predicted.
 Thus Daniel 8:14 & Rev. 14:6,7 go together.

Heavenly Sanctuary
 The picture of our Great High Priest being ushered into the
Sanctuary for the judgment of the world in 1844.
 Dan. 7:13,14 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, [one] like the
Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the
Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. (for what
purpose?)
 WHEN THE JUDGMENT IS OVER
 Dan. 7:14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a
kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve
him: his dominion [is] an everlasting dominion, which shall not
pass away, and his kingdom [that] which shall not be destroyed.
 After the kingdom is given to Jesus by the Father, He comes to
receive his subjects.

65. The Results of the Judgment
 WHEN THE JUDGMENT IS OVER
 Dan.7:14 “And there was given him dominion, and
glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and
languages, should serve him: his dominion [is] an

his kingdom [that] which shall not be destroyed.”
 After the kingdom is given to Jesus by the Father, He
comes to resurrect and receive his subjects.
 The second coming of Jesus is the hope of the
Christians.

The Prophetic Picture
 Here is the judgment scene
 Dan. 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the ANCIENT
OF DAYS did sit, whose garment [was] white as snow, and the hair of
his head like the pure wool: his throne [was like] the fiery flame, [and]
his wheels [as] burning fire.
 7:10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him:
thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten
thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books
were opened.
 This is the picture of the judgment in 1844 – in heaven –
the Father is on the throne. At the heavenly sanctuary –
where Jesus is our Great High Priest + billions of angels.

where your name will come up in judgment.
 The house of God is judged first, therefore
your name, my name will be presented in
this august assembly.
 Just think, you will be the subject of
discussion in this awesome place.

“Blotted Out” Acts:3:19
 “The work of the investigative judgment and the blotting out
of sins is to be accomplished before the second advent of
the Lord. Since the dead are to be judged out of the things
written in the books, it is impossible that the sins of men
should be blotted out until after the judgment at which their
cases are to be investigated. But the apostle Peter
distinctly states that the sins of believers will be
blotted out "when the times of refreshing shall come
from the presence of the Lord; and He shall send Jesus
Christ." Acts 3:19, 20. When the investigative judgment
closes, Christ will come, and His reward will be with Him to
give to every man as his work shall be. {GC 485.2}
