The document discusses the design choices made for a header created in Photoshop for a blog. It chose Photoshop to develop Photoshop skills, used the black, orange, and white color scheme of the official website, an italic font similar to the client's logo, a curved header for an edgy look, and header dimensions of 900px by 200px for easy workability and appropriate sizing.
2. Photoshop?
Why did I choose Photoshop to create my header?
I decided to choose Photoshop to create my header
as it is a software that I have never really used. I really
want to develop my Photoshop skills as I believe it is
important for future uses.
3. Colour Scheme?
Why did I choose the black/orange/white colour
scheme?
I was following the official website. The colours that
they mainly use is black, orange and white. And I think
it makes sense to use the same colours as the official
websites as this will not leave customers confused.
4. Font?
Why did I choose the italic font?
I chose the italic font is the font is quite similar to the
buffet club one. I was going to use their logo to put on
my website, however after creating my header and
showing the client, he really liked the header therefore
I have decided to use it for my blog.
5. Curved Header?
Why did I decide to use a curved header?
I wanted my header to look really edgy and
sophisticated with shapes. I decided to use the curved
header as it kind of looks like a wave and makes the
header look really edgy and gives it style.
6. Size?
Why did I choose this size specifically for the header?
In my opinion a header should be longer in length
than it is in width. I chose 900px for the length and
200px for the width. I found this size very easy to work
with as it is not to small nor is it too big.
