Scholarships
Board of Trustees, Blue and Gold Scholarship and Regis Achievement Award
-Offered to college freshmen with high scholastic achievements. The awards are renewed
each year for a total of four years as long as the recipient mains a 3.0 or higher.
Athletic Awards
For Baseball, volleyball, basketball, softball, lacrosse, cross country, soccer, and golf are
awarded by the Athletic Department of Regis based on skills, assets, and academic career
Natural Science Scholarship
full tuition scholarship awarded to Regis freshmen who plan to major in chemistry, biology,
or mathematics. This scholarship is renewable up to 4 years while maintaining a 3.0
average, however is available during the summer semester.
Grants
College Opportunity Fund
-Paid by the state on behalf of eligible undergraduate residents. The dollar amount is stipend and set
annually by Colorado general assembly.
Federal Pell Grant
-Federally funded for extreme financial need from FASFA. Family’s contribution estimated calculates the
percentage amount you will receive for full time or part time. Was created by Consolidated Appropriation
Act.
Colorado Student Grant
-State funds awarded To Colorado for residents with high financial needs with a completed FASFA.
Colorado Graduate Grant is similar also having to be a resident with high financial needs enrolled in degree
programs identified as critical careers by Colorado commission of higher education. While having a
completed FASFA and residency form.

    Why we most likely not have a football
     team -we simply could not afford it
●   A DII football team has an average budget of $900,000 and
    competitive programs spend more in the $1.5 million
    range.
●   DII football programs never make money
●   Only 26 DI programs actually paid for themselves and a
    made a profit.
●   Most DII programs can alleviate some of the cost burden
    through donations and receipts but they never pay for the
    entire program.
