Day 1: Welcome to Hanoi with Water Puppet show
Our tour guide and driver pick you up at airport to charming northern capital. Check in
hotel, rest after your journey, and enjoy Welcome dinner with Vietnam traditional

cuisine. And then have tickets for a performance of traditional Water Puppetry (an art
form unique to northern Vietnam).
Day 2: A half day trip to Bat Trang ceramic (B)
You have a easy morning, walking in the old quarter
to visit market, have a cup of coffee in the small shop
to watch the daily life of local people. After lunch,
you will have half a day to explore Vietnam’s premier
ceramics centre in detail. The road to Bat Trang runs
alongside the river. It’s about 15km east of Hanoi and
famous for making fine ceramics. You have chance to
watch the manufacturing process and meet the
craftspeople, try your hand making a ceramic product.

7h30pm: Go Asia Travel’s bus and guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you
for the overnight train to Lao Cai Station. Enjoy the experience the romance of overnight
train travel.
Day 3: Lao Cai Station – Sapa market – Lao Chai – Ta Van village (B, L)
Upon arrival in Sapa Town we have breakfast in local restaurant take time to relax, enjoy
Sapa pure atmosphere, in the morning, we prepare for a great trek down to the
picturesque valley of Muong Hoa. We will walk on small paths and trails to reach Lao
Chai and Tavan Village to visit the Tay and Day tribes, where we will have unique
homestay experience among hill tribe people, Picnic lunch is prepared by our guide. Then
you come back to Sapa town by car and overnight in hotel there.
Day 4: Sapa free time (B)
After breakfast, you have free time to go to Sapa market to see the purchasing activities,
visit the Church and entertain by yourself. In late afternoon, we pick you up for Lao Cai
station
Dinner is for your choice. Then you take the overnight train back to Hanoi
Day 5: Arrive back to Hanoi – Halong bay with overnight stay on boat (L, D)
You will arrive in Hanoi Station at around 5h30am. Our guide pick you up in early
morning, help you to check in early for showering and having breakfast until we start to
go to Halong bay.
12h00 – 12h30: Embark on Oriental Sails followed by cruise briefing

Day 6: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L)
06h00 – 07h00: Start your day with swimming, exercise or photo hunt
07h00 – 11h00: Have breakfast at sunrise. Cruise through Drum Cave Island, Man’s
Head Islet, Van Gia Fishing Village and then head back to the Harbor. You disembark
Oriental Sails at around 11h00
12h00 – 16h30: Transfer back to Hanoi and trip finishes at the hotel around 16h30
Day 7: Hanoi – Luang Prabang (B)
You enjoy free time in Hanoi for shopping, entertaining by yourself until we pick you up
to airport to fly to Luang Prabang. You arrive in Luang Prabang, transfer to city, check in
hotel and enjoy a half-day tour around this beautiful World Heritage town. Nestled in a
stunning setting amid lush mountains, this sacred city of golden temples and saffron
robed monks provides endless opportunities for sightseeing. You will visit a number of
Wats (temples) and other fascinating sites and spend the afternoon exploring on your own
at the relaxed pace of laid-back Laotian life.

Day 8: Cruising in Luang Prabang (B, L)
After breakfast, you join a cruise on Mekong River to visit the famous and sacred Pak Ou
Caves. Since the 16th century, the local people have brought images of the Buddha to
place in the caves—by now there are thousands. You will have lunch on board. In the
afternoon, you go on a walking tour of the town and visit golden Buddhist temples. In the
evening, you stroll through the night markets to buy some local crafts and souvenirs. You
overnight in hotel in Luang Prabang.
Day 9: Luang Prabang – Vientiane (B)
You enjoy your free time in Luang Prabang until transfering to the airport for a short
flight to Vientiane then you take a guided tour of the major temples, in the evening, you
go for a stroll along the banks of the Mekong River in this quiet, French-inspired capital
city. You overnight in hotel in Vientiane.

Day 11: Vientiane – Phnom Penh (B)
After breakfast in hotel, you have free time for
your own entertainment activities until transfer
to the airport for your flight to Phnom Penh.
Our tour guide and car pick you up and transfer
you from Phnom Penh International Airport to
the hotel. In the afternoon, you visit Victory
Monument, and the National Museum, also
called Musee des Beaux-Arts. A French
archaeologist and painter, Georges Groslier,
designed it in Khmer style in 1917. The
museum contains a collection of Khmer art -
notably sculptures - from throughout the ages. You visit the Royal Palace, built by King
Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. Located within the
grounds of the Royal Palace, the
Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. The
treasures found inside include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90kilograms
and a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha. You finish your afternoon
with the visit of the Wat Phnom Temple. You overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh.
Day 12: Phnom Penh (B)
In this day, you spend your total relaxing time to entertain by yourself. You overnight in

Day 13: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap (B, L, D)
After breakfast at hotel, you are transferred to Phnom Penh International Airport and
departure by Siem Reap Airways International or similar to Siem Reap. You arrive at
Siem Reap International
Airport and transfer to the hotel (rooms may not ready until the afternoon). You will visit
Preah Khan, built by the King Jayavarman VII and, like Ta Prohm, a place of towered
enclosures and shoulder-hugging corridors. Unlike Ta Prohm, however, the temple of
Preah Khan is in a reasonable state of preservation and ongoing restoration efforts should
maintain and even improve this situation.

Neak Pean, a fountain (built in the middle of a pool and representing the paradisiacal
Himalayan mountain-lake), the temple of Ta Som, as well as the unique brick sculptures
of Prasat Kravan,
lunch is at local restaurant and you visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th
century). See the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of
milk, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper
King and Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces
of Avolokitesvara). Dinner is at local restaurant and overnight stay at hotel in Siem Reap.
Day 14: Siem Reap - Departure (B, L)
Breakfast is at hotel. In the morning, you visit the most famous of all the temples on the
plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable
in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the
Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the
prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five towers

Represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat, the ocean
beyond.
Lunch is at local restaurant. In the afternoon, you visit Ta Prohm, one of the most
beautiful temples in the area. Ta Prohm has been left relatively untouched since it was
discovered and retains much of its mystery. You visit also Chau Say Tevoda and
Thommanon. Transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for departure flight to the next
destination
Trip Notes:
Tour guide: Local tour guide with international experience will give you the feeling of
safety, protection. He will cares about every meal you eat, the room in hotel, especially
