Introduction Research and Copyright Basics
When you do research, you need to be sure that you
do not copy exactly what the book, magazine,
Task
encyclopedia, or website said- you can use their
ideas and information, but do
not use the
Process
exact same words and sentences they
used.
Process You also need to cite your sources. This means that
Continued you have to give credit to the people you got the
Evaluation information from. A list of the sources you used is
called a BIBLIOGRAPHY.
Conclusion If you use someone else’s words and
do not cite the source, it is called
Teacher Page plagiarism, and it is against the law.
