Dr. Greg Frokjer is an experienced oral and maxillofacial surgeon who has treated over 80,000 patients over two decades. He specializes in facial trauma, reconstruction, and jaw surgery. Dr. Frokjer received extensive training and certifications, including from the University of Iowa Dental School. He has performed over 2,000 major hospital cases and administered over 50,000 anesthetics.

career, has treated large numbers of patients,
some with very complicated surgical
challenges. He has practiced for more than
two decades and has treated over 80,000
patients. He was trained at a Level I Trauma
Center and specialized in Facial Trauma,
Facial Reconstruction and Temporal
Mandibular Joint Surgery.
3. He has received several board certifications
such as National Board of Dental Examiners
Part I, II; Central Regional Board of Dental
Examiners and Board Eligible Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Greg Frokjer has
completed his dental education from
University of Iowa- Doctor of Dental Surgery.
He was honored with Most Outstanding
Graduate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
(1983) and Collegiate Committee on
Pharmacy and Therapeutics (1982,1983).
4. He was Captain of All-University
Championship Volleyball Team. His post
doctoral training includes General Practice

Resident Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery –

and Chief Resident Oral and Maxillofacial

Clinic (1987).
5. In his career, Dr. Greg Frokjer has
successfully performed over 2000 major
hospital cases and has administered over
50,000 general or IV anesthetics. For his great
expertise, he has received several honors and
achievements. His publications include TMJ
