The LODE-BD Recommendations present a reference tool that assist bibliographic data providers in selecting appropriate encoding strategies according to their needs in order to facilitate metadata exchange by, for example, constructing crosswalks between their local data formats and widely-used formats or even with a Linked Data representation. The LODE-BD Recommendations aim to address two questions: how to encode bibliographic data hosted by diverse open repositories for the purpose of exchanging data across data providers; and how to encode these data as Linked Open Data (LOD) - enabled bibliographic data. The core component of the LODE-BD Recommendations report contains a set of recommended decision-making trees for common properties used in describing a bibliographic resource instance (article, monograph, thesis, conference paper, presentation material, research report, learning object, etc. - in print or electronic format). Each decision tree is delivered with various acting points and the matching encoding suggestions, usually with multiple options. LODE-BD is a part of a series of LODE recommendations overarching a wide range of resource types including the encoding of value vocabularies used in describing agents, places, and topics in bibliographic data.

Semantic web refer to the web of data which construct meaningful data from unstructured and semi-structure data architecture. It allows data to be share and reuse across different platforms, frameworks and countries. So the clustering of the semantic web of data will provide effective solution for web of data access. And in today’s web, there are different web services which is develop across different frameworks and protocols. So this paper combines all the web services which are develop across different framework and protocols in one service. This represents the mashup of web services, it has used the content which is from more than one source and creates into single new service displayed in single GUI. So doing the clustering of semantic web of data will enhance the effectiveness of mashup of web services.

World Wide Web has revolutionized the means of data availability, but with its current structure model , it is becoming increasingly difficult to retrieve relevant information, with reasonable precision and recall, using the major search engines. However, with use of metadata, combined with the use of improved searching techniques, helps to enhance relevant information retrieval .The design of structured, descriptions of Web resources enables greater search precision and a more accurate relevance ranking of retrieved information .One such efforts towards standardization is , Dublin Core standard, which has been developed as Metadata Standard and also other standards which enhances retrieval of a wide range of information resources. This paper discuses the importance of metadata, various metadata schemas and elements, and the need of standardization of Metadata. This paper further discusses how the metadata can be generated using various tools which assist intelligent agents for efficient retrieval

Much of the focus on big data has been on the problem of processing very large sources. There is an equally hard problem of how to normalize, integrate, and transform the data from many sources into the format required to run large-scale anal- ysis and visualization tools. We have previously developed an approach to semi-automatically mapping diverse sources into a shared domain ontology so that they can be quickly com- bined. In this paper we describe our approach to building and executing integration and restructuring plans to support analysis and visualization tools on very large and diverse datasets.

This paper shows that the problem of web services representation is crucial and analyzes the various factors that influence on it. It presents the traditional representation of web services considering traditional textual descriptions based on the information contained in WSDL files. Unfortunately, textual web services descriptions are dirty and need significant cleaning to keep only useful information. To deal with this problem, we introduce rules based text tagging method, which allows filtering web service description to keep only significant information. A new representation based on such filtered data is then introduced. Many web services have empty descriptions. Also, we consider web services representations based on the WSDL file structure (types, attributes, etc.). Alternatively, we introduce a new representation called symbolic reputation, which is computed from relationships between web services. The impact of the use of these representations on web service discovery and recommendation is studied and discussed in the experimentation using real world web services.
