digital, but film is okay)

•Willingness to sacrifice
their lunchbreaks for
double periods
5. Topics will include:
• Basics: camera parts, exposure, focal
lengths, and other fundamentals
• Composition, imagery, semiotics
• Genre photography (photojournalism,
documentary, fashion, sports, fine art,
travel, portraiture)
• Advanced techniques
6. The activities lined up
for the year:
• Lectures, discussions, and screenings
• Brainstorming, projects, and critiques
• A lot of photo shoots
• 2-3 out-of-school location shoots
(a.k.a. fieldtrips)
• Guest speakers and seminars
7. And lastly,

TAMAD!
Expect weekly individual/group homeworks
that will require everything from conceptualizing,
shooting, editing, and even critiquing.
