both Spanish, Cuban and Mexican cuisine, it is a
unique tasty blend of Spanish, African, Taíno, and
American influences, using such indigenous
seasonings and ingredients as coriander, papaya,
cacao, nispero, apio, plantains, and yampee. Locals
call their cuisine "cocina criolla"
