Salone Satellite is the
possibility for entrepreneurs
to show their product
worldwide. This showroom is
put up every year in Milan
within Salone del Mobile . The
youngsters involved in this
exhibition are mostly
designers or simply students
with a secret dream.

It was an incredible chance for us, maybe, future young
entrepreneurs, to compare ourselves with someone who has
more experience.
Due to this fact, we asked them some useful questions:

➢ How much does the product cost for the production?

“Nigi-Pon” is a high-tech squeezing ball that tells you how much
energy you consume while you squeeze the ball.
By knowing the exact effect of such a light physical activity, you’ll be
encouraged to do a little bit harder exercise.
If you are sitting on the WC and you are bored, you can squeeze the
“Nigi-Pon” and the toilet paper will come down! That’s because a
wire connects the toilet paper with this ball.
That’s AMAZING!

This simple but ingeneous
invention will let you earn space
by putting the chairs and the
tables tables in their proper
place.
6. IIS C.E. Gadda
With its special shape this cup
pegtop will allow you to provide
an effective mixing of drinks.
This is a russian invention, it’s
called “A.R. Novate”

Mapu Guaquén “the sound of
the Earth” are clay speakers that
combine old pottery tradition
with the latest wireless audio
technology. Each speaker has a
soft, raw look thanks to the
handmade shape and the use of
earthy colors and cork finishing
around the central speaker.

The “Chic chair” is created by
recycling of materials: sixty old
ties are recycled and used as
stuffing for a chair which
provides excellent durability and
incredible comfort in spite of
what you may see.

The Continuum is a luminous
artwork that plays with the
concepts of light and form. This
object creates an ethereal light
animated by the movement of
small wires placed at its oval
glass case.

The "Fondue Stool” is a new
stool which is made by
dipping the sponge, it is called
like this because the
production process is similar
to cheese fondue. We dip the
sponge into PVC, dry it with
hot air and it is done. We can
see the sponge change its
shape naturally due to its
weight (gravity).

The group of students “Can you
spell Bauhaus?” created a hand
warming machine which works
just turning a handle.
12. IIS C.E. Gadda
The same group created an
intelligent wardrobe for
people with mental illnesses
such as alzheimer. It is made
of colorful fabric and its
peculiarity consists in having
some images on it which help
the person in remembering
where they put their stuff.

Wooden Aquarelle is an
investigation into creating
unique coloured treatments
on wood.
Its effect is created by
soaking the wood with water
that has been mixed with
colour pigments. The liquid
soaks into the wood at
different rates, depending on
its placement and density of
the material, then as it dries
leaves behind a watercolour-
like effect.

CONCLUSIONS
The majority of the partecipants
involved in Salone Satellite
didn't receive any financial
assistance from their country,
Those who received it are the
ones from China and Finland.

discovered that
communication is the main
tool for advertising your
product, involving people
and convincing them to
buy it or to finance it.
