3. Bisogni emergenti....
Early leavers from education and training
Nel 2011 in Europa, il 13.5 % dei giovani tra 18 e
24 anni erano usciti anticipatamenti dai percorsi
di istruzione e formazione, senza diploma o
qualifica.
>> 15.3 % maschi ♂
>> 11.6 % femmini ♀
Secondo Eurostat nel 2011, 7.5 milioni di giovani
(15–24 anni) e altri 6.5 milioni (25–29 anni) in
dai sistemi educativi.

4. Bisogni emergenti....
The NEETs ...
nel 2008 >> 11% (15–24 anni) e 17% (25–29 anni);
nel 2011 >> 13%
e 20%.

5. Bisogni emergenti....
European benchmark 2020:
>> less than 10 % of leavers from education
and training
7. WIDENING THE FUTURE → Il progetto
inizia fin dalle prime esperienze scolastiche.
Finalità: condividere esperienze e creare nuove conoscenze nell'ambito
dell'orientamento, quale intervento pedagogico e preventivo nell'ambito
della prima fase del percorso scolastico (età: 7-12)
Key words: orientamento – formazione insegnanti – strumenti ICT

Orientamento in tutti i Paesi
coinvolti.
9. Obiettivi del progetto...
Promuovere azioni positive per contrastare il
fenomeno dell'abbandono scolastico e
della perdita di motivazioni
all'apprendimento, intervenendo già nella
prima fase di accesso all'istruzione.
Conoscere, sperimentare e condividere
strumenti e modelli di intervento
nell'ambito dell'orientamento, per potenziare
le capacità decisionali e prevenire processi
di abbandono.
Facilitare processi di apprendimento e di
aggiornamento degli insegnanti, anche
attraverso modalità di cooperazione
internazionale e di ricerca azione.
10. Azioni principali...
educative

Raising Aspirations and Smoothing Transitions
Brhmie Balaram and Lizzie Crowley
5 September 2012
“Careers education should be embedded in the
curriculumas early as primary school and expanded
on with age in an effort to prevent young people from
becoming NEET later on life”.
Careers education refers to programmes and activities of learning
which help people to develop the skills necessary to manage
their career and life pathway. These include accessing and making
effective use of career information and guidance.

Raising Aspirations and Smoothing Transitions
Brhmie Balaram and Lizzie Crowley - 5 September 2012
“Careers education prepares young people to
understand and later apply impartial careers
guidance to best suit their needs. This programme
should be implemented from primary school
onwards”.

13. The ACEG Framework in England
The ACEG Framework is a new framework for
careers and work-related education (CWRE) in
England.
At its heart is a set of recommended learning
outcomes for key stage 2, key stage 3, key stage 4
and post-16 education and training. The guidance
includes advice on the organisation, leadership and
management of CWRE.
Careers and work-related education (CWRE) describes the planned provision
by schools, colleges and their partners to enable young people to learn
about careers, learning and work so that they can manage
555
their own development and make life choices and decisions
that will benefit their own wellbeing
and contribute to the wellbeing of others.
ACEG - A framework for careers and work-related education - April 2012
14. The ACEG Framework in England
The framework is constructed around three main
areas of career and work-related learning:
1 - Self-development through careers and workrelated education
2 - Finding out about careers and the world of work
3 - Developing skills for career wellbeing and
employability
‘Career and work-related learning’ starts
in primary schools and continues throughout
all years of secondary and tertiary education and training.
15. The National Danish Framework
Guidance in education / Careers education
The objective of careers education in primary and lower
secondary school is for each pupil to acquire a general
knowledge about educational and vocational opportunities
and to come to understand the value of completing an
education or training programme.
The framework includes three main knowledge and skills areas:
1. The personal choice
2. Education, training and vocations
3. The labour market
16. The National Danish Framework
The aim is for the pupils to:
develop professional, social and personal
competencies;
make an informed and realistic choice of
education or training programme;
understand the value of life-long learning;
be able to deal with conditions related to
education, training, vocations and the labour
market.
