1. Everest Base Camp Trekking Itinerary
This itinerary is based on the trekking package of

2. Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu. O/N at hotel.
• Arrive at Kathmandu Tribhuwan airport
(1300m), Where Our Global Holidays
Adventure's representative meets you,transfer
you to hotel near by Thamel. We will explain
about your program in evening time.
Overnight at hotel with BB basis.
3. Day 02: Trek preparation & Sightseeing at Kathmandu
valley, O/N at Hotel.
• After morning breakfast you will meet with
trekking and tour guide, then you will have
sightseeing of world heritage sites in
Kathmandu valley including: Kathmandu
durbar square, Swayambhunath Temple,
Boudhanath stupa and Pashupatinath Temple
with our Professional tour guide. Overnight at
hotel with BB basis.
4. Day 03: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2652 m),
3/4 hrs, O/N at Guesthouse.
• Transfer to airport at early in the morning for
Lukla flight. Flight for Lukla is a lifetime
experience in itself. THe airfield is at high
elevation and the difference between the two
ends of the runway is about 460 meters.

5. Day 4
Trek to Namche Bazar (3440 m), 5/6 hrs, O/N at Guesthouse.
• Today, we follow the Dudh Kosi, ascending through
Himalayan pine and Doedar cedar forests, to the
celebrated village of Namche Bazaar. Namche bazaar is
a historic trading post where Nepalese and Tibetan
traders exchange salt, dreied meat and textiles. Besides
being a superb place to shop for traditional crafts,
• Namche remains the central trading post in the
Khumbu, attracting Himalayan and lowland merchats.
We will spend two days in Namche for acclomatization,
visit local markets and spend time with your team. On
the hike we capture our first glimpses of Everest and
neighboring peaks. Overnight at Guesthouse with BLD
basis.
6. Day 05: Acclimatization day in Namche, O/N at
Guesthouse.
• This day is reserved for acclimatization and a very slow ascent into
thin Air. After breakfast we will start the ascent towards Khumjung.
The trail ascends above Namche Bazar and passes through
Syangboche (3720 m) where the local airport is located. From a hill
top above the airport, you will get your first views of Taboche Peak,
Lhotse peak, and Ama Dablam. On arrival at Khumjung(3,780 m),
you could visit the Hilary school before stopping for lunch at one of
the tea houses. After lunch we will continue ascending the foot
path to Khunde (3840 m), here you could visit the local hospital
before the 2 hours ascent back to Namche Bazar. Namche Bazar is
Known as the gateway of the Everest region, visit the local museum
where you can see the traditional custom of the Sherpa peoples.
We will spend a second night in Namche. Overnight at Guesthouse
with BLd basis.
7. Day 06: Trek to Tengboche (3860 m), 5/6 hrs, O/N at
Guesthouse house.
• The flat and easy trail leads towards the view
of Mt. Everest, then descends deep into the
Dudh Koshi valley at Pungki Thanka, from here
it ascends the right flank of the Dudh Kosi
valley to Tengboche Monastery (3860 m). It is
the spritual center of the Khumbu. We can see
Mt. Everest, Amadablam and its surrounding
from khumbu.Overnight at Guesthouse with
BLD basis.
8. Day 07: Trek to Dingboche (4410 m), 5/6 hrs, O/N at
Guesthouse.
• Descend through a beautiful forest then cross
the Imja khola and trek through the village of
Pangboche (3900 m), Perhaps today is the
most interesting trekking because you will not
lose altitude like on other days and you will
enjoy views of Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Lhotse &
other peaks, the route continues through
pastures to Dingboche, Known as the '
summer valley'. Overnight at Guesthouse with
BLd basis.
9. Day 08: Second Acclimatization day,
O/N at Guesthouse.
• This would be your second acclimatization day that requires about 6 hours
of trekking to an altitude of 5100 meters. After breakfast we ascend
Nagerjun (5100 m), a hill located on the flanks of the Chhukung valley
directly above Dingboche. The main aim is to climb high and sleep low.
The foot path becomes steep at times, resulting in a physically challenging
day- ascending the hill could take up to 5 hours at altitude. From this
altitude there are good views of Lobuche East (6119 m), Lobuche west
(6145 m), Taboche Peak (6367 m), Thamserku (6608 m), Kangtega (6685
m) and Ama Dablam (6856 m). On a clear day you could even see Makalu,
the world's fifth highest mountian, including great views of the Pheriche
valley. After a short rest we will start the descent back to Dingboche - the
walk at altitude takes about 2 hours. After lunch you should take a well
deserved rest, afternoon tempratures could drop rapidly as the sun sets
over the mountain tops. We will spend a second night in Dingboche.

10. Day 09: Trek to Lobuche (4910 m), 5/6 hrs, O/N at
guesthouse.
• Trek along a broad valley floor to Dughla,
passing the Trekker Aid post at Pheriche (4240
m), staffed by western volunteer docters and
supported by the Himalayan rescue
association which offers treatment and
consultation to trekkers. Continue up the
valley, gaining altitude. Come out of the valley
to descend to the yak pastures if Lobuche
(4910 m). Overnight at Guesthouse with BLD
basis.
11. Day 10: Trek to Everest Base camp (5160 m), then
return to Gorepahep, 5/6 hrs,O/N at Guesthouse.
• After a short climb through meadows, look down on
the Khumbu glacier. Straight ahead is Kalapattar, the
best vantage point to view the entire south face of Mt.
Everest and the surrounding peaks. After couple of
hours we will get at Goreksheep, and continue our
journey to Everest Base camp. There is not much
elevation gain, but there are a lot of ups and downs,
combined with altitude, this can be a tiring portion-
but the journey is worth it.After 3 hrs of hiking we will
arrive at Base camp and enjoy views of the Khumbu
Glacier and icefall, where Everest expeditions begin,

12. Day 11: Hiking to Kalapattar (5545 m),
• The best viewpoint to witness Mt. Everest and
the spectacular Himalayan range. Then we
trek back to Gorekshep for hot breakfast and
then descend to Pheriche (4210 m). Overnight
at Guesthouse with BLD basis.
13. Day 12: Trek to Namche, 6/7 hrs, O/N at guesthouse.
• Easy walk along the Imja Khola, short climb to
Tengboche, descend Pungki Thanka and
complete steep to Kyangjuma and easier trail
to Namche. Overnight at Guesthouse with BLD
basis.
14. Day 13: Trek to Lukla, 6/7 hrs, O/N at Guesthouse.
• The trek continues along the Dudh Koshi river
to the small mountian airstrip at Lukla where
you will catch your return flight to
Kathmandu. Overnight at Guesthosue with
BLD basis.
15. Day 14: Fly back to Kathamndu (1337 m), O/N at
hotel. Evening time farewell dinner.
• After 30 minutes scenic flight we will reach to
Kathmadnu. Overnight at hotel with BB basis.
16. Day 15
• Leisure day in Kathmandu or flight delay at
Lukla due to the bad weather (For Everest
Trekking often twin Otter is the primary mode
of transport form and to Lukla. The flight is
depend on the weather. Sometime flight (to
and from Lukla ) may be canceled due to the
bad weather condition of Mountain or
technical problems. So we recommend one
leisure day). Â Overnight at Kathmandu hotel.

17. Day 16: Transfer to Airport.
• Transfer to airport for your home country or
onward destination.
